Hometown harness racing trainer Nicky Chilcott has a sizable team entered for Cambridge tomorrow night.
Four of her seven runners; Says Who, Messenger Buoy, Vincents Girl and Ocean Belle are owned by Taranaki breeders Alan and Lyn Messenger.
Says Who (Heās Watching) starts the night for Nicky in Race Two. The four year old debutant draws five on the second row so will face plenty of traffic in a capacity field.
Messenger Buoy (Sunshine Beach) last started on the grass at Hawera in February. Heās been placed against some handy types in two workouts in preparation for his resumption, and draws handy at one in Race Three.
In Race Six Nicky has two runners ā Vincents Girl (Vincent) which draws four and Itās Nae Or Never (Art Major) which draws one on the second row.
Vincents Girl (*best bet) is resuming after last racing in January. Sheās been placed in two workouts leading into tomorrowās race.
Itās Nae Or Never hasnāt had much luck in her recent Auckland runs. The blinds come off the three year filly tomorrow night.
Six win trotter Del Shannon (Muscle Hill) starts off the 20 metre mark in Race Eight. Heās been racing against better company and providing he can step, this looks like a winnable race for him.
In Race Nine Chilcott has two runners ā Under The Boardwalk (Downbytheseaside) and Ocean Belle (Sunshine Beach).
Five start maiden Under The Boardwalk appears to be still learning the racing game.
First starter Ocean Belle has been to two workouts this preparation.
