Top trotter Oscar Bonavena made a comeback of sorts today when taking out the $100,000 Group One Livamol NZ Trotting Free For All at Addington Raceway.
A son of Majestic Son, Oscar Bonavena had been out of form in his last 10 starts and had not had a win since January 2020, but he got back in winners circle today courtesy of a booming finish down the outer, adding to the great day driver Mark Purdon is having along with training partner Hayden Cullen.
Purdon has won Five of the Seven Races so far today, with a number of favoured runners still to come including the ace Always B Miki youngster Franco Indie and Cup favourite Self Assured.
