Harness racing hits Addington again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:31pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Value:  R8   Treacherous Baby

Race 1

Jukebox Gypsy (4) Consistent form and drawn to lead early. Should run top three with luck
Zoom X (7) Running on last start and will be improved. Much stronger now and needed here
McKendrick (5) Getting better with racing and due to find some form. Place chance in this

Race 2

Joyride (8) Hardly ever out of the placings and has gate speed. Will be thereabouts again here
Queen Of Swords (9) Wide draw but speedy and will be fitter. Should give a good sight in this
Taketheplunge (7) Has trialed ok and only needs a good trip to go close to placing. Top three

Race 3

Tarragindi (6) Solid win last start and a winning chance again with good manners. Include
Torquay Street (5) Good from a stand and has won on the track. Should give a good account
Tu Tangata (8) Running on in most of his races and a place chance with the right trip. Needed

Race 4

Riptide (6) Stand start no issue and from the leading stable. Top selection in this and can go close
Mystery Beach (12) Had excuses last start and previous form was good. Good each way chance
Dawn To Dark (9) Will be fitter after last start. Conditions suit and he could surprise. Include

Race 5

Bettors Anvil (7) Good against a way tougher field last start. Freshened and hard to beat here
Rustenburg (2) Should get a soft run handy. Keeps stepping up but this is his hardest test to date
The Coalman (1) Due to show form and drawn well here. Could get an ideal trip from the ace

Race 6

Tact Teva (4) Gets a head start on toughest rivals. Might lead and be hard to run down in this
She’s Crunchy (7) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this. Unbeaten and is untapped
Midnight Miki (9) In good form and wide draw the only concern. Win chance if he goes forward

Race 7

Mighty Logan (10) Best horse in the field and will be running on. Tricky handicap but can go close
Tyron Eros (9) Decent motor and will be better for last run. One of the better chances in this field
Bounce N Beyond (6) Easy win last start. Will continue to improve and winning claims again here

Race 8

Treacherous Baby (8) Big win last start and in fine form. Wide draw but looks one of the best hopes
Dynasty (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. At her best would be a big chance. Include here
Seaside Rose (4) Big motor but will have to be near 100% to beat these. Will continue to improve

Race 9

Crystal (2) Has raced well in better fields. Drawn well here and looks a good bet. Has to be included
Longview Tui (1) Inside draw and better than most in this field. Has to be respected here. Needed
Sweet Espresso (4) Good finish last start and can do some work mid race. Will be running on late
