Harness racing hits Addington again today with 13 races on the card. The racing starts at 2:09pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Midnight Diamond (14) Going for five in a row. Tricky draw but looks hard to beat in this
Judy J (8) Should begin quickly and easy win on Cup Day. Top three chance with a cozy trip
Atlantic City (7) Might press forward early. Place hopes here if she can get handy to the speed

Race 2

Secret Agent Man (10) Did too much work last start and easier here. Needs gaps but good horse
Mr Cash Man (5) Nice win last start and longer trip suits. One for longer odds with the right run
Deny Everything (9) Wide draw but targeted this race. Expect a good showing if things go his way

Race 3

Kyvalley Ray (5) In great form since arriving from Australia. Will be put in the race and can go close
Petite Amour (3) Nice win last start and a threat to these with a good run in transit. Manners needed
Becky’s Girl  (4) Getting better with racing and can sneak into the top three with luck in running

Race 4

Captain Kobe (2) Fought on last start in a similar field. Needs an ounce of luck but one for longer odds
Zoom X (4) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Each way chance paying nice odds. Needed
Dawn To Dark (9) Left them standing last start in quick time. Wide draw but could surprise in this

Race 5

Tracy The Jet  (3) Building up an impressive formline and looks hard to beat on recent form. Needed
Meant To Be (11) Tricky draw but good enough to make his own luck. Should give a good account
Gatesys Gem (1) Drawn well and might be in the trail here. Can stick on for a place in this field

Race 6

Double Jeopardy (13) Looked unlucky last start but will need luck from the draw. Winning claims
Got You Covered  (4) Running on ok on Cup Day. Drawn for a soft run and can run top three here
Christies Art (5) Should get a good run near the speed from the draw. Will be running on late 

Race 7

Gold Bullion (15) Never put in the race on Cup Day and had more to offer. Tricky draw but has claims
Rush (8) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Might surprise if she can lead and trail here. Include
Master Class (5) Likely to go forward early. Needs the right trip but place hope with luck in transit

Race 8

Ruby Roe (9) Wide draw but can win if she gets a cart into the race. Top three beckons again
Dance Till Dawn (7) Decent motor and not much luck last start. Winning claims with a better trip
Mantra Blue (8) Disappointing last start. At her best would give this a shake so go again here

Race 9

War Cry (2) In good form in this grade and drawn to suit. Should be positioned for a top three claim
Ripples (13) Decent motor and might get a run through early. Hard to beat if she can lead here
Alecto (11) Disappointing last start but previous form was good. Her best form would take her close

Race 10

Jilliby Ballerini (6) Very unlucky in the Dominion. Drawn wide but distance suits. Top selection
Gus (10) Wide draw but better than most in this field. Hard to beat after easy win on Tuesday
Oscar Bonavena (9) Good finish last start and has a good record in this race. Winning claims

Race 11

Marketplace (2) Draw and class make him a solid top three player again. Hard to beat here
Got The Chocolates (6) Has dominated these horses the last couple and will be right in the fight
Captains Mistress (1) Likely to race close to the speed here. Will get last shot at them late

Race 12

Leap To Fame (8) Was huge in the Cup and shorter distance suits. Should out tough them here
Merlin (10) Ran home well in the Cup and draw might work in his favour. Will be flying late
Dreams Are Free (3) Up in grade but no doubting the ability. Not the worst at longer odds

Race 13

The Lazarus Effect (3) Keeps on winning and looks the likely leader. Hard to run down here
Built For Glory  (7) Unlucky here on Tuesday and might be driven differently here. Needed
Here’s Herbie (1) Likely to race close to the speed on the pegs. Top three claims at nice odds
