Race 1

Casino Action (6) Gate speed sees him in the race early. Hard to beat if he gets his own way
Dance Till Dawn (5) Good win last start but this is harder. Has to be respected in this
The Coalman (4) Speedy finisher who will be in it if the pace is on. Look for him late

Race 2

Muscle Sass (2) Last start second was big. Improver who can go close with manners
George Eliot (11) In fine form and getting better with racing. Should run top three
Luvavici (1) Has a bit of a reputation at home and could surprise fresh. Include in this

Race 3

Beach Ball (4) Might look to dominate from the front. Tough pacer who should go close
Laver (8) Disappointing last start. Will be improved and at his best would win this
Heisenberg (5) Will need luck from the draw but trialling well. Winning claims with luck

Race 4

Sunnys Sister (4) Looked good at trials and has a big motor. Hard to beat with
Walkinonsunshine (9) Tricky draw and coming in fresh. Has ability and top three claims
Aroha Kenny (10) Easy win last start but draw is against. Can win if she clears the fence

Race 5

Double Jeopardy (4) Big run on debut and should be improved for this. Can run top three
Hadron Collider (8) Tricky draw but trialling well and liked by the stable. Needed here
Major Hot (5) Consistent form and top driver booked. Should be hard to beat here

Race 6

Sinbad (7) Good win last start and will head forward. Top selection in this field.
Charlie Brown (4) Plenty of speed and big finish last start. Top three chance in this
Tabasco (2) Better than the form suggests. No surprise to see him go close from the draw

Race 7

Alta Meteor (7) Hardly ever out of the placings. Looks a good chance to run top three
Deceptive Lee (5) Good beginner coming in fresh. Good place chance with luck in running
Bach (9) Has been freshened for this. Unlucky in Auckland Cup and could surprise here

Race 8

Mystify Me (4) Tidy run last start in a stronger field. Improver who can run top three in this
Straight Flush (8) Wide draw But top driver back on. Has to be a good chance in this field
Prima Donna (9) Tricky draw but not much luck lately. Winning claims with her speed

Race 9

Tu Tangata  (4) Always finishing on in his races. One day he will get the run to suit
Unico Vacanza (9) Has raced well in similar fields. Freshened and has winning claims
Nazareth (10) Wide draw but nice win fresh. Good chance with a good run in transit

Race 10

Black Mach (3) Tough horse who always races handy. Likely to be there at the finish
Fernleigh Blackbird (8) Out of form but better than that. Should give a good account in this.
Adesanya (9) At his best would be a threat. Needs the right run in transit but can place
