Harness racing hits Addington again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 5:33pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Value:  R1   Verducci

Race 1

Verducci (3) Freshened but went some good races last campaign. One for longer odds
Kairaki Delight (8) Change of trainer for this. Can run top three in this field
Action Major (7) Didn’t get all favours last start. Might stick on for top three here

Race 2

Night Watch (10) Quick beginner and another top three looks likely. Top selection
George Eliot (5) Getting better with racing. Chance at long odds with manners early
Sunny Louis (4) Drawn to race handy and has to respected after ok finish last start

Race 3

Kairaki Confidential (6) Nice trialist from a stable that gets results. Top selection
Millwood Goddess (4) Likely to go forward early. Can run top three with a better trip
Shapely (7) Running on recently in similar fields. One of the better chances

Race 4

Glorys Delight (5) Gate speed and will go forward. Hard to beat with any luck in the race
Helium (4) Out of form but might press on early for the front. Winning claims with a lead
Triple G (7) Trainer respect but will need luck from the draw. Has to be included here

Race 5

Arden’s Pursuit (4) Ran on well last satrt. Drawn to take advantage tonight. Needed
Radioactive Jaffa (2) Easy winner last start. This is harder but could win again
Bettor Lover (5) Disappointing last start but driver change. Chance with a better trip

Race 6

Love N The Port (4) Normally a good beginner and has beaten better fields. Needed
Jimmy Carter (5) Conditions suit and manners the key with him. Chance if he steps
Majestic Man (6) Back marker off 30m but small field will help. Can place fresh up

Race 7

Beach Ball (7) Worst draw but looks to have their measure. Should run top three
Mighty Looee (5) Classy horse who goes best from the front. Likely leader with claims
The Falcon (3) Tough horse who is in form. Nice draw and a solid top three chance

Race 8

Mighty Logan (14) Big finish to win last start and looks a top trotter in the making. Needed
Aroha Kenny (6) Drawn much better here looks hardest for the favourite to beat. Include
Tu Tangata (13) This looks easier than his last few races. Has the speed to place with luck

Race 9

Rakero Rocket (4) Beat a similar field last start and drawn better. Hard to hold out here
Tide And Time (3) Much better last start and can go close with luck in running. Needed
Bettor Be Sharp (2) Draw helps and should get a soft run near the speed. Top three chance

Race 10

Princess Meritaten (3) Conditions suit and should give a good account from the good draw
Dancing Desire (4) Getting fitter with racing and a top three chance from the draw. Include
Indiana Arden (6) Racing well but her hardest test to date. Definitely a top three chance
