Harness racing hits Addington again today with eight races on the card . The racing starts at 4:28pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Gliding High (2) Big finish last start at Ashburton. Should run top three in this from the draw
He’s Tough (6) Small field will help and should begin quickly. At his best would go close in this
Krystal Delight (9) Driver respect and distance will suit. Disappointing last start but has claims

Race 2

The Highlander (1) Fought well for third last start and well placed in this. Top selection here
Terror Ma Sue (4) Ok draw and has a big finish with one run at them. Small field will help
King Arthur (6) Improver from his last start and could head forward early. Needed in this

Race 3

Meandad (7) No luck last start galloping. Better run expected if she trots all the way in this
Penelope Hall (5) Ok last start and steps well. Winning claims with a good run in transit
Peaknmonkey (8) Manners the key and has a nice finish if he trots all the way. Include here

Race 4

Sweet Dreams (5) Solid third last start and weaker field here. Winning chance with her speed
My Ten Guitars (4) No form but weak field here. Top three claims with top driver booked
He’s A Bay (6) Out of form but a place chance here if he can get to the front early. Roughy

Race 5

Miss Gracie (3) Good draw here and could surprise with manners. Might go close with a lead
Navara (7) Likes the track and should give a good sight here. Good each way chance at odds
Downtown Orlando (10) Will be fitter after last start. Needs to trot all the way but can place

Race 6

Taketheplunge (9) Stable respect in this and hard to beat against this lot. Top selection in this
Franco Elvis (8) Form not bad and a weaker field here. Top three claims with a good run in transit
Changeforthebeta (4) No form to speak of recently but can pop up when you least expect it

Race 7

Dream Boyz (2) Even field and top driver booked. One of the better chances in the race. Include
Major Linc (5) Should get a run through early. Has won a race and solid winning claims in this
Dixieland Delight (3) Getting better with racing. Top three chance with a quick beginning

Race 8

Moet Shard (9) Did too much work last start but goes well here. Will need manners but can win
Ultimate Counsel (8) Tricky draw but quick beginner. Winning claims with a trail in the race
Waterholes Road (3) No form but could get a good run near the speed. Top three chance at odds
