Harness racing hits Addington again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 12:45pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Beyond The Horizon (7) Always a chance in short distance races. Top three chance again
Murano (11) Hasn’t had a lot of luck but has the motor. Winning claims with no mistakes
Majestic Whisper (9) Manners the key but has the motor. Could surprise with no errors

Race 2

Precious Belle (3) Good win last start and should improve. Top selection in this field
Mr Incredible (6) Has gate speed and notable driver change. Chance here at longer odds
King Arthur (4) Another with gate speed and drawn to suit. Will race handy here. Needed

Race 3

Valyrian Steel (9) Previous run no room up the straight. Up to winning this with luck
Americano (2) Disappointing last start. Similar field here and looks a strong winning chance
Don Juan (3) Better run last start and should go on with it. Can run a place again in this

Race 4

Major Happy (7) Will carry tote support from the wide draw. Has the form on the board
Sports Babe (3) Racing well with no luck. Good enough to run top three in this field
Uptown Funk (1) Manners the key from the ace draw. Good chance if he steps cleanly

Race 5

Willison (10) Freshened but should eat this field with a good run in transit. Top selection
Ifyousayso (5) Racing better than the form suggests but needs a good run in transit. Include
Style Council (1) Normally a good beginner and racing in peak form. Good place chance

Race 6

Te Rapa (9) Building up a good run of form. Looks hard to beat in this field. Needed here.
Bennie And The Jets (10) Due to strike form. Better on Friday and could surprise here with luck
Top Pocket Chance (1) Nice draw and change of trainer. Will be running on at the finish

Race 7

Aint No Angel (1) Drawn to dominate in this. Should go close to winning. Top selection
Executive Banner (6) In good form but wider draw. Could surprise with a good run in transit.
Straight Flush (5) Tricky draw but has gate speed. Might go forward early. Place claims here

Race 8

Glenthorne (7) Normally a quick beginner and unlucky last start. Could lead all the way
Smokin Annie (1) Due to strike form. Good chance from the inside draw. Wnning claims
Tremendous Lover (6) Mobile will be a big assist here. Should be close to top three in this
