Harness racing hits Addington again today with 13 races on the card. The racing starts at 4:47pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Lizzie Borden (3) Good win last start and ran a quick time. Should run top three again
Miki’s Deal (2) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Southern runners do well here
Smackdown (4) Getting better with racing and can go back to back if she she leads.

Race 2

It’s Tough (5) Likely leader who will be tough to run down in this. Looks hard to beat here
Scrunch (1) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Top three chance again
Kotare Kelso (10) Could get a cosy run on the pegs for this. Place hope at longer odds

Race 3

Stumblin In (8) Made u good ground here last start. Good run expected but wide draw hurts
Seaside Brucie (1) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Needed
Palladium (6) Good effort at recent trials. Speedy and trainer chooses this one to drive. Include

Race 4

Song Sung Blue (7) Solid third last start and a winning chance again with a better trip
Next Level (8) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account again
Miki Knows (6) Should be nearing peak fitness and team is firing up now. Winning claims

Clotilde Wainwright (1) Fought on last start in a weaker field. Drawn to pay a major part here
Waterloo Station (9) Has been freshened and well placed here. Good each way chance
Atlantic City (10) Will be fitter after last start second. Stable respect and has to be included

Race 6

Dreams Are Free (7) Good against a way tougher field last start. Hard to beat against this lot
Treacherous Baby (6) Should get a soft run handy. Beat a very good horse last start. Include
Arthur Shelby (1) Freshened and drawn well here. Big reputation and will give some cheek

Race 7

Ya Rite Darl (7) Stable going well and this one looks stronger now. Will need manners early
Mad Jack (6) Freshened and now trained by a trotting master. Should go close to placing in this.
Paige (1) In good form and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance at longer odds

Race 8

Celestial Sea (12) Can’t fault the form. Wide draw but can make her own luck. Good chance here
Selsey Anne (8) Decent motor and has gate speed. Upset claims if she fires forward early
Chicago Sky (1) Freshened and has looked good at trials. Will continue to improve and place chance

Race 9

Oscar Bonavena (12) Fastest horse in the field and will be running on. Tricky draw but can win
Muscle Mountain (11) Big motor and nice win last start. Can go back to back with a cart into it
Midnight Dash (4) Running on last start. Will continue to improve and place hope with luck

Race 10

Rubira (9) Has raced better fields. Drawn wide and requiring luck but master driver. Needed
Midnight Miki (4) Nice draw and better than most in this field. Top driver booked. Include
Bar Louie (8) Good win last start and can do some work mid race. Can keep winning

Race 11

Akuta (1) Conditions suit and has beaten most of these in the ast. Can go close to winning
We Walk By Faith (2) Freshened and top driver jumps on. Dangerous with one run at them
Alta Meteor (5) Likely to race close to the speed here. Easy win last start and go again here

Race 12

Rangitata (7) Has a big reputation and hard to see him beaten with manners. Top selection
Majestic Me (3) Another with a good reputation. Better draw here and has to be respected
Lindy’s Rocket (4) Good beginner who could get a soft trip Not the worst at longer odds

Race 13

Better Be Quick (2) Draw suits and goes well the track. Due a win and can go close here
Sweet Espresso (1) Galloped away last start but dangerous if she goes with them here. Needed
Miki Skipper (3) Likely to race close to the speed here. Can stick on for a top three finish
