Harness racing hits Addington again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 5:01pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R8   Better Knuckle Up

Best Value:  R1   George Eliot

Race 1

George Eliot (6) Big run in a similar field two starts ago. Should go close here and top selection
Grettymac (7) Racing well and mobile will help here. Manners needed but has to be included
Aspirational Dream (10) Ok against the best in her age group last start. Hard to beat with gaps

Race 2

Revolution (12) Better last start and looks a good bet if he can get handy quickly. Needed
Unico Tessa (1) Best draw and good second on debut. Freshened and can give cheek here
Solar Neigh (7) Trialing well but wide draw. Chance at longer odds with luck in transit

Race 3

Song Sung Blue (4) Better draw and has raced better fields in the past. Gate speed and hard to beat 
Commander Joe (10) Has run some good races in these conditions. Place claims with a good drive
Miki’s Courage (6) Disappointing his last few starts but not the worst in this. Improver with claims

Race 4

Fernleigh Blackbird (9) Goes ok on the track and can run time. Wider draw but still a good chance.
Our Shangri Lana (1) Tidy draw and fast on her day. Will have admirers from the ace. Needed here
Tokyo Rose (3) Races well over the shorter trip if she can get handy early. Will stick on if she leads

Race 5

Keayang Zahara (4) Unbeaten and can not see how they can beat her barring mistakes. Top selection
Bring On The Muscle (12) Running on last start. Extra distance will be in his favour and can place
Father Time (1) Best draw and has gate speed. Looks a good place chance if he can trail the favorite

Race 6

Don’t Stop Dreaming (1) Track stats good and in great form. Good chance again from the ace draw
Merlin (6) Running good races in tough fields. Should give a good account in this. Can run top two
Pinseeker (2) Better draw and racing well. Likely to trail and could stick on for a place in this. Include

Race 7

Oscar Bonavena (6) Two good wins the last couple of starts and good chance of adding to that here
Muscle Mountain (7) Stuck on after sitting parked last start and getting fitter Might push the favourite
Mystic Max (2) Normally quick away. One of the major chances in this field. Top three player here

Race 8

Better Knuckle Up (4) Big run last start and normally holds form. Should race handy and good chance
Chase A Dream (8) Has raced well against similar fields. On the improve and one of the better chances
Jeremiah (7) Not far away from his bets form. Look for a good run in this field with luck in the running

Race 9

Aroha Kenny (8) Track stats ok and should get a good run through from the draw. Good chance
Master Class (5) Running good races and not far away last start. Should give a good account again
Tu Tangata (9) Better than the form suggests. Always running on and will land in the top four with luck

Race 10

Bettor Off (2) Good win last start but this is harder. Good chance from a nice draw. Needed here
Zoom X (4) Running good races and not far away last start. Should give a good account in this field
La Concha (3) Better than the form suggests. Not the worst in this at longer odds. Upset chance

Race 11

Bettor Be Sharp (4) Conditions suit and a good chance if he gets a soft run. Might be the leader early
Tempo Warrior (8) Rare mistake at Methven but has gate speed and can figure here from the mobile
Kotare Kelso (13) Tricky draw but one of the major chances in this field with a cart into it. Needed
