Harness racing hits Addington again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 12:52pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Brett’s Mate (1) Improving trotter who gets a good draw. Top selection in this field.
Peaks Moment (2) Could be the early leader if he steps cleanly. Winning claims
Spiritinthesky (13) Slightly disappointing last start but top driver booked. Could surprise

Race 2

Rita (5) Good beginner and Orange jumps on. Looks a good winning chance. Needed
Arnold Layne (10) Getting better with racing and due to strike form. Top three hope here
Americano (4) Normally a good beginner should be thereabouts in this. Good chance

Race 3

Terror Ma Sue (3) Hasn’t had a lot of luck and big upgrade in draws. Up to winning this
Louie Vista (10) Very unlucky last start. Weaker field here and looks a strong chance
Hit The Beach (12) Tricky draw but has the motor. Can run a place at longer odds

Race 4

Sue’s Dash (1) Nice draw and conditions suit here. One of the better chances in this
Fearless (5) Racing well and should go close to beating this field. Major player here
True Confessions (4) Up in grade but getting better with racing. Top three claims

Sports Babe (12) Will be fitter after his third last start. Has the motor to be a threat here.
Mr Incredible (6) Good second last start and good gate speed if they want to use it. Include
Expressive Love (8) Slight freshen for this. Has speed and might go forward early

Race 6

McCrikey (6) Normally a good beginner and change of driver for this. Can win
Black Mach (8) One paced but in good form. Looks hard to beat after his third last start
Sophia Bromac (11) Tricky draw but wet track might suit. Will be running on at the finish

Race 7

Chance On Me (3) In good form and big run for third last start. Top selection here
Claus (6) Due to strike form. Could surprise with a good run in transit. Include
Kennedy (1) Tidy draw and normally steps ok. Might stick on for a top three finish

Race 8

Straight Flush (6) Normally a good beginner and could lead early. Winning claims
Oliver North (11) Due to strike form and change of trainer. Could surprise with luck
Precious Belle (7) Easy win last start. One of the better chances in this. Needed here
