Harness racing hits Motukarara again today with 12 races on the card. The racing starts at 12:04pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Harry Belafonte (4) Grass no issue and in good form. Should run top three with luck
Super Fund (12) Out of form but could surprise here with the right trip. Top three chance
A Better Jackalack (8) Getting better with racing and will head forward early. Win chance

Race 2

Macho Man (5) Getting close to a win and goes well grass surface. Has to be included
B K Mumma Jamie (15) Disappointing last start but previous run was good. Go again
Senior Constable Liz (14) Raced some good fields last campaign and one for longer odds

Race 3

Rapid Response (9) Quick beginner and conditions suit here. Looks over the odds at $19
Kushite Warrior (3) Ok last start and a threat to these with a good run in transit. Needed
Flyaway (4) Good effort here two starts ago and better draw. Can sneak into the top three

Race 4

She’s A Lady (2) Solid at trials and a winning chance from the draw. Should give a sight
Captain Publisher (8) Has early speed and goes well the track. Place claims again in this
Miki Brown (7) Trial winner with winning claims if he can secure a good run in transit

Race 5

Tallandfast (1) Best draw for some time and due a winning turn. Top selection in this
Antisocial (6) Running on well late at Methven on debut. Good each way chance here
Arinitti (4) Will be fitter after last start second. Nice draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Pasternak (11) Good against a way similar field last start. Hard to beat with no mistakes
Moa Mojito (9) Better than the form suggests. Big odds available and could surprise here
Transtasman Bubble (10) Due to show form and tricky draw only concern. Top three claims

Race 7

Treasure Cove (9) Stable respect and looks a winning chance in this field. Top selection
Beaudiene Quick Step (4) Ok two starts ago and drawn to be competitive. Worth including
Style Council (5) Should get a good run near the speed and conditions suit. Place claims

Race 8

Call Dudley (7) Needs to bring his best behaviour but hard to beat if he does. Needed here
Diedre Franco (2) Decent motor and running home well last start. One of the better chances
Solemn Son (5) Better last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here

Race 9

Woodlea Rocks (10) Likes the track and might get a soft trip. Any gaps and she can upset
Caloriefree (8) Decent motor and will start a short priced favourite. One of the main hopes
Delightful Dreams (16) Has not had a lot of luck in recent runs. Can win with a cart into it

Race 10

Sideshow Bruce (20) Has raced better fields. Tricky handicap but looks a good bet. Needed
Tokyo Rose (11) Better than most in this field and top driver booked. Has to be respected
Still Rockin (13) Grass suits and can do some work mid race. Could surprise at big odds

Race 11

Tu Tangata (7) Has won on the track in the past. Can go close here with manners
Love Walked In (10) Good form on grass and racing well last few runs. Needed here
Cormoran Strike (13) Tricky handicap but goes ok on grass and racing well. Win chance

Race 12

Magical Max (11) Won well last start and should get a run through early. Worth including
Beachbreak (8) Better than the form suggests. Wide draw but has to be respected in this
Riptide (14) Stable respect but tricky draw to contend with here. Can still win with luck
