Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with eleven races on the card . The racing starts at 12:05pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Waterloo Station (1) Has the grass track form to be a big chance today. Can run top three
Tessamae (8) Home track will help and should begin well. One of the better chances in this
Inquizitive Man (2) Quick beginner who looks the early leader. Good runs the last couple

Race 2

Miki Skipper (4) Nice run in a better field last start and easier here. Track will suit
Lasa (2) Very good form before breaking last start. Hard to beat if he paced all the way
Newbiemains Arden (5) Improver from her last start and could surprise. Top three chance

Race 3

Grazie (4) Trialling well and stable respect on debut. Good run expected at her first start
Kairaki Vegas (5) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with luck. Looks over the odds
Nila Maree (1) Ok effort last start and best draw. Winning claims with any improvement

Race 4

Social Distancing  (1) Battling runs of late but freshened and drawn well. Can run top three
Acento (3) Better run last start and well placed here. Good each way chance from the draw
Anytime At All (10) Will be fitter after last star. Drawn for a soft run and place chance here

Race 5

Transtasman Bubble (2) Good against a similar field last start. Hard to beat with manners
Solemn Son (3) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw. Needed here
Penelope Hall (1) Due to show form and drawn well here. One for longer top three odds

Race 6

Pure Courage (6) Conditions suit and has raced better fields. Can run a race on grass
Style Council (9) Deserved win last start. Might need luck but usually thereabouts. Include
Buckskin (11) Wide draw but good second in a stronger field last start. Will start favourite

Race 7

Crazy N Love (1) Gets a head start on the favourites. Will need manners but can go close
Mavis Jones (12) Tricky draw but can play a part if she gets handy quickly. Winning claims
Musclynn (6) Grass suits and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance

Race 8

Wish Me Luck (6) Form horse in the field and top driver booked. Should give a sight here
Audacity (9) Decent motor and track stats ok. One of the better chances. Has to be included
Here’s Herbie (3) Due to show some form. Will continue to improve and place hope in this

Race 9

Paris Prince (8) Good second at Addington. Goes ok on grass and well suited here. Needed
Royal Del (7) Tricky handicap but better than most in this field. Has to be respected in this
Cormoran Strike (11) Good finish last start and can do some work mid race. Win chance

Race 10

Hi Hopes (5) Grass suits and last start not too bad. Can go close here with a fast start
Light Me Up (11) Good form on grass and top driver sticks with him here. Needed
Sarasota Sunset (10) Likely to race close to the pace on the pegs. Good chance with gaps

Race 11

Emma Swan  (7) Hasn’t had a lot of luck but should go an improved race here. One for odds
Woodlea Diamond (1) Good form on grass and drawn for a cozy run on the pegs. Needed
American Blaze (8) Likely to race close to the speed here. Freshened and good chance
