Harness racing hits Ashburton again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:20pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

She’s Got Sass (3) Freshened after some ok runs in better fields last campaign. Needed
Lovey Dovey Nova (6) Tidy run last start and big track will suit. Should go well again
Courtney May (16) Galloped last start but prior form good. Chance with manners

Race 2

Pandaia (1) Drawn to dominate and looks hard to run down based on recent trials. Needed
Miki Party (2) Could get a cosy run on the pegs here. Can run top three with luck
Light Up The Fire (4) Better last start and better than the form suggests. Include here

Race 3

Rockenroll Graduate (5) Freshened after racing well last campaign. Well placed here
Cant Touch This (6) Stable in good form and trials have been ok. Good chance on debut
Captain Fantastic (7) Has won a trial. Will need to step and run but has winning claims

Race 4

Beyond The Horizon (3) One paced but this field looks within his grasp. Include
Kohli Trouble (7) Big finish if the pace is on. Will be running on here and can win
Take After Me (2) Looks the early leader and races ok on the track. Could surprise

Race 5

Commander Ben (1) Racing well in better fields and drawn to suit. Big chance in this
Franco Messi (10) Likely to get a soft run on the pegs. Has to rate highly on trial efforts
Big Boyz Toy (2) Ok last start and top driver booked. One of the major players in this

Race 6

Notasbadasilook (4) Running on well last start in quick time. Top selection in this field
Navara (1) Disappointing last few starts but good draw. Can run top three if back to his best
T K Megastar (6) Drawn wide but has speed. Goes close if she leaves the gate quickly

Race 7

Press Play (6) Ran on well last start and up to beating this field. Good winning chance
Hey Tonight (11) Should get a run through early. One for longer odds in this field
Evangalist (8) Wide draw but has been good in better fields. Needs luck but can win

Race 8

King Arthur (5) Drawn well and will race close to the speed here. Short distance suits
Judgement Bay (13) Better last start and will be running on here. Chance at good odds
Not Over (2) Has trialled well on course in the past. Needs a soft trip but has claims

Race 9

Ginas Majesty (3) Better last start and can go on with it in this field. Good winning chance
Boyz Invasion (11) Manners can be a bit iffy but has ability. Win chance if the pace is on
MM Sunshine (1) Drawn the front and only needs manners to be a threat. Winning claims

Race 10

Woodlea Jewel (4) Good gate speed and could be the early leader. Can run top three
Ifyousayso (9) Ok last start but wide draw a concern. Win chance if the pace is on
Bri Express (12) In top form and draw the only issue. Can compete with this field
