George Eliot (5) Racing well and big track should suit. Can run top three again here
Schoemaker (13) Getting better with racing and has the speed to be a major player. Needed
Joeking (17) Going well in age group and manners the only concern here. Winning claims

Race 2

Rock Me Lou (5) Trialling well and drawn to take advantage early. Top selection
Lewey Maguire (11) Has good ability and gets into a weaker field here. Not the worst
Flying For Me (12) Unlucky last start and better suited here. Can improve quickly

Race 3

Waihemo Hannah (5) Has the speed to be a serious chance if she trots all the way. Include
Lovey Dovey Nova (3) Big improver who will appreciate the bigger track. Top three claims
Curator (13) Runs the odd good race and due to get back in form. Chance at longer odds

Race 4

Eyeliner (4) Mobile and sprint trip suit. Top driver booked and good winning claims here
Good Time Betty (11) Nice fence draw and running well against stronger fields. Needed
Swiftnsweet (7) Looked ok at latest trials. Wide draw but likely to go forward. Include

Race 5

Carving Up (8) Strikes a wide draw but better than form suggests. Can win with luck
Play It Cool (5) Racing well at trials and likely to race handy. Include here
Ragazzo Major (12) Drawn second row but top driver booked. Has to be respected

Race 6

Princess Sadie (9) Good form against the best 2yo trotters. Looks one of the better chances
Lil Whip (7) Running on in all of her races. One for longer odds in this field. Include
We Can Have It All (13) Stable on fire at the moment and can win despite the tricky draw

Race 7

Hayley’s Meddle (11) Good second last start and looks a major player in this. Top selection
White Star Orlando (5) Disappointing last start and should improve. Gate speed to lead
Apatchofgold (9) One of the most unlucky horses going around. Wide draw but go again

Race 8

Major Happy (9) Draw hurts but starting to show form again. Can get into the placings
Poetry In Motion (1) Big upgrade in draws and top driver booked. Winning claims here
Mayson Shard (8) Good form and likes to race handy. Chance if she goes forward early

Race 9

Star Magic (10) Has been unlucky and only needs clear air to be a major chance in this
He’s A Jackalack (3) Good second last start. Good draw and loves the stand. Needed
Foveaux Gambler (1) Another nice draw and likes to race handy. Should be thereabouts

Race 10

El Conqueror (14) Has the ability but needs the right trip. Good chance on the bigger track
Rachmaninov (5) Form a bit patchy but goes ok the track. At his best would be a chance
Test The Boundaries (18) Goes well on the track but handicap a worry. One for longer odds

Race 11

Cardi B (1) Track will suit and good beginner. Likely leader who can give a sight
Sinai Sermon (3) Due to strike form and has trialled well here in the past. Winning claims
Cyren Shard (11) Big run at Rangiora and looks one of the better chances in this
