Harness racing hits Ashburton again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 3:04pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

George Eliot (4) Going good races in stronger fields. Should go close to winning this
Bevron (2) Nice draw and getting fitter. Can improve on last start second. Include
One El (6) Should be improved from last start third and conditions suit here . Needed

Race 2

Toby Tom B (10) Big run after breaking last start and top driver booked. Top selection
Fulham Jive (8) Good ability and better suited in this. Top three hope with luck in transit
The Night Fox (9) Racing in good form and likely to go a strong race again here. Needed 

Race 3

Wallflower (1) Drawn well and has a bit of a reputation. Looks one of the better chances
Melody Arden  (10) Freshened and looks capable of filling a place if fully fit. Include
On Top Of The World (3) Strikes a nice draw and trials have been ok. Can run top three

Race 4

Mighty Flying Lou  (8) Big winner on this track on debut. One of the better chances
Threebeersdeep (3) Workouts have been ok and trained on the track. Has to be included
It’s Tough (9) Only needs a good trip to go close to winning this. Can run top three

Race 5

Clyde (8) Has been racing well in better fields and big track suits. Can surprise
MM Sunshine (4) Grass run was good last start. Out of form but has to be included here
Lil Miss Muscles (10) Tidy fence draw and should get a soft run. Chance with gaps

Race 6

Cardi B (9) Disappointing last start in a hot field and drop in class for this. Top selection
Elite Styx (3) Likely to race handy and can run top three with a good run in transit. Needed
Szybka Lane (7) Has not had all the luck. Fast off the gate and one for longer odds in this

Race 7

Apatchofgold (7) Draw hurts but bigger track should be ideal. Needs the run to suit
Absolute Dynamite (10) Likely to trail and can run top three with gaps here. include
Fernz Goldy (9) Good third last start but wide draw. Can make her own luck in the running

Race 8

Ideal Delight (5) Draw gives her options and looks very hard to beat here if she can lead
Rocknroll Diva (11) Out of form the last couple but will be running on. Winning claims
Foveaux Gambler (1) Good third last start and inside draw. Should get a soft trip here

 Race 9

Styx Jewel (3) Galloped last start but looks a major player in this if she trots. Needed.
Aldebaran Floss (8) Racing well in stronger fields. Could run top three at longer odds
Feel The Moment (12) Draw not great but he won well last start. Go again in this

Race 10

Bryce’s Meddle (9) Wide draw but good enough to make his own luck. Top selection
Motor Mouth (5) Goes best in front and short distance suits. Can stick on for a place
Tide And Time (10) Has been racing well and will have one late run at them here. Needed
