Harness racing hits Ashburton again today with seven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Whosdreamingnow (9) Good finish last start for third. Improved here and hard to beat
Searing Light (7) Not much room last start and could surprise with a better run in transit.
Rockenroll Graduate (3) Speedy starter who will be in it if the pace is on. Will race handy

Race 2

Freya (3) Big reputation in the stable and looks primed to run a big race. Needed
Lottie’s Moment (6) Stable in fine form and this one has trialled well. Can run top three
Kracka Looka (7) Has a bit of a reputation at home and could surprise fresh. Include in this

Race 3

Touch N Go (6) Has run some handy races in similar fields. Speedy filly with claims
Just Follow Me (5) Good trial win and stable gets them running early. Hard to beat
Always B You (4) Coming in fresh and bigger track will suit. Winning claims here

Race 4

Mystar Blue Jean (9) Looked good at trials and has a big motor. One of the better chances
Hit The Beach (6) Wider draw but has ability. Needs the right trip but can run top three
Almighty Clever (1) Great draw and better than the form suggests. One for longer odds

Race 5

Tide And Time (6) Bigger track should suit and due a change of form. Can run top three
Elite Styx (9) Tricky draw but suited by the sprint trip. Chance with a cart into the race
Hes Fast And Furious (4) Older now but still a chance in a race like this. Include here

Race 6

Eurostyle (5) Good win last start and can run time. Top selection in this field.
Natives Inferno (7) Plenty of speed and big finish last start. Top three chance in this
Monsignor (1) Better than the form suggests. No surprise to see him go close from the draw

Race 7

Hes Santas Excuse (8) Always gives his best and bigger track might suit. Looks a top chance
Full Of Desire (7) Disappointing the last couple but better than that. Good place chance
Ned Kelly (13) Has been freshened for this. Has ability and one for longer odds in this

Race 8

Streaming Live (9) Tricky handicap but good beginner. Improver who can run top three
Sandfly Bay (12) Will get back in the running but a big finisher. Good chance in this field
Paige (4) Better draw but not much luck lately. Winning claims with her speed at the end

Race 9

Forever Me (12) Classy and handicap the only concern. Top selection in an even field
Mandalay Bay (15) Has raced well in similar fields. Bigger track will suit and can win
Foveaux Gambler (7) Tough placing last start. Good chance with a good run in transit

Race 10

Doctor Tim (6) Tough horse who was disappointing last start. Likely to be there at the finish
Ifyousayso (5) Out of form but better than that. Should give a good account in this.
Bologna (8) Speedy and small field will help. Looks one of the better chances in this field
