Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:57pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Miki Montana (1) Tidy win last start and drawn to repeat. Looks a top chance in this
Nelson’s Boy (3) Should be stronger after last start run. Can finish top three here
Colonel Lincoln (4) Freshened and stronger now. Not the worst in this field. Include

Race 2

High On Love (5) Coming in fresh and has ability. One of the major players in this field
Melsadele (9) Should be nearing peak fitness and can win again at short notice.Needed
Run Forest Run (7) Plenty of ability but has been making mistakes. Worth including 

Race 3

Throwyaarmsaroundme (6) Has been racing better fields and big run last start. Hard to beat
Greater Good (1) Should get a cosy run close to the speed. Winning claims from the draw
Vinnie Turbo (5) Ok draw and better than form suggests. Can run top three with luck

Race 4

Dream Of You (6) Manners still a bit iffy but getting better. Winning claims with one run at them.
Faith In Manchester (2) Will get the run to suit from the draw. Good place chance here
Lauries Legacy (8) Wide draw but good enough to overcome it. Quick start gives him a chance

Race 5

Bach (7) Tough field but likely to go forward early. Winning claims if he can grab an early lead
Who’s Delight (2) Has run some nice races recently and good enough to win this. Needed
Neptune (4) Not sure he can win this but looks competitive. Top three player for sure

Race 6

Double Delight (8) Handicap hurts but racing in good form. Top selection in this field
Springbank Mason (7) Manners query but big motor. Can surprise with the right run in transit
Liaison (3) Has won here in the past and great draw. Can run a cheeky race from the front

Race 7

Copy That (6) Draw a worry but has the speed to get over the top of them here. Include
Akuta (5) Coming in fresh and should run a quick mile rate. Should run top two
Smiffy’s Terror (4) Quick beginner who is speedy. Will make it interesting if he leads

Race 8

Forever Me (7) Wide draw but has gate speed and races well here. One of the better chances
The Notorious R B G (6) From a top stable and will be better for the last start run. Needed
Wicked Wanda (5) Racing well and can run a quick last half. Winning claims here.

Race 9

Shesgold (5) Improver after last start third. One of the major players in this field
Monarch Hill (1) Racing well and can run top three again with luck here. Include
Special Effects (3) Has the ability but doing things wrong early. Chance with manners
