Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card . The racing starts at 6:06pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R2  Ultimate Racy Girl

Best Value:  R8  Regal Girl

Race 1

Eyre I Will (1) Good second from similar draw last start. Can run top three with manners
Saninarmbro (7) Should begin quickly and track stats are ok. Easier field here and has claims
Brienne (2) Getting better with racing and distance is ideal. Not the worst at longer odds

Race 2

Ultimate Racy Girl (5) Dropping back from top age group racing and easier here. Winning claims
Leo Lincoln (11) Should get a run through early. Might need luck but good recent third here
Mantra (2) Improver from his last start and better draw. Top three hope with a similar effort

Race 3

Confederate (3) Gets into a winnable race with a nice draw. Better run expected back in this grade
Youretheonethatiwant (8) Ok last start and a threat with a good run in transit. One of the favourites
Kevin Kline (2) Good effort last start and better draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Faith In Manchester (7) Solid win last start and a winning chance again if she leads. Include here
Eurostyle (8) Has oodles of speed and just needs manners. Should give a good account if she steps
Virginia Clowers (10) Out of form but running on late last start. Chance with a good run in transit

Race 5

Jolimont (4) Blew on by last start in a similar field. Might be too quick if he gets a soft trip. Include
The Big Lebowski (5) Good stayer and well placed here. Good each way chance. Just needs to step
Better Eclipse (7) Will be fitter after last start win. Tricky handicap but has to be included here

Race 6

Duchess Megxit (6) Good win against a way strong field last start. Hard to beat again in this
Seaclusion (3) Should get a soft run handy. Place claims from the draw at longer odds. Include
Princess Meritaten (8) Big finish got her home last start but harder here. Requiring luck from draw

Race 7

Franco Santana (2) Draw helps but even field. Can run a tidy race if he gets his own way in front
Twista (5) Goes well on the track and has been freshened. Might need luck but not the worst in this
Minjee (1) Nice draw and can run good sectionals. Upset claims with a trail in the race. Include

Race 8

Regal Girl (6) Has been racing strong fields and easier here. Will need luck but could surprise
Sunset Hill (3) Up in grade but should go close to placing in this. Only needs a good beginning
Bolt For The Hill (8) Tricky handicap over the shorter distance. Top three chance with luck

Race 9

Greased Lightnin (6) Has the best form in the race and stable respect here. Wide draw but can win
Lou Will (5) Decent motor but no form. One of the better chances in the race in first Northern start
Cranachan (8) Southern form was ok. Will continue to improve and place hope with a good trip
