Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 10 races on the card . The racing starts at 5:34pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Runkle Crunch (6) Freshened after running ok in some good age group races. Top selection
Akatea (7) Has raced better fields and should begin quickly. Stable respect. Needed here
Carrera Hombre (11) Getting better with racing and tidy win last start. Place chance again

Race 2

Princess Gracy (10) Freshened and has trialled well. Opened at crazy odds in this. Include
Turn O The Tide (4) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Has claims
Enzo (11) On debut but trial win looked good. Top three chance with a cart into the race

Race 3

Hillbilly Blues (6) Only needs manners to hard to beat in this field. Good run expected
Voronov (5) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit
Jasinova (1) Good effort last start and nice draw. Might lead and can get into the placings

Race 4

The Surfer (3) Has gate speed and a winning chance from the draw. Top selection in this
Greased Lightnin (6) Keeps stepping up with every race. Should give a good account again
Always B Elite (7) Out of form but improver with place chances at longer odds. Needed

Race 5

Aradne (8) Wide draw but will appreciate the conditions here. One for longer odds
Itaintnecessarilyso (11) Ok after breaking last start and well placed here. Each way chance
Brienne (4) Likes the track and conditions suit here. Can provide some good place value

Race 6

Marketplace (5) Good when trialling on the track and hard to beat against this lot. Needed
Rubira (8) Big finisher last start. Can push the favourite with a good trip. Has to be included
Got The Chocolates (1) Due to show form and drawn well here. Trainer respect in this

Race 7

Beside Me (11) Draw hurts but has a huge motor. Might just be too good for them in this
Arafura (2) Should get a run through early. Might need luck fresh up but can run top three
Youretheonethatiwant (3) Nice draw and stable will have her ready for this. Upset claims

Race 8

Jolimont (5) Gets a head start on the favourites. Quick beginner who could surprise
Frisco Bay (2) Won well last start but this is harder. Upset chance if he trails all the way
Republican Party (8) In good form and should get a good run near the speed. Win chance

Race 9

Oscar Bonavena (7) Fastest horse in the field and will be running on. Small field helps
Kyvalley Hotspur (6) Decent motor and running on last start. One of the better chances
Lord Popinjay (5) Going for five in a row and running quick times. Can push the favourites

Race 10

Demon Blue (5) Has raced better fields. Due to show some form and top selection for this
Allets (4) Better than most in this and coming in fresh. Should give a good account here
The Jolly Roger (8) Can do some work mid race and will race well fresh. Good chance
