Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:55pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Value:  R6  Aldebaran Flame

Race 1

Wheres The Gold (4) Racing well and should go forward early. One of the better chances
Four Kisses (1) Getting better with racing. Winning claims from the draw
Voodoo Prince (6) Has been unlucky the last couple. One for longer odds here

Race 2

Dina Mo (4) Slightly disappointing last campaign but stronger now. Good chance here
Ohoka Creed  (8) Tricky draw but in good form. Strong chance of running top three
Courage Of Montana (10) Likely favourite who should get a run through early. Needed

Race 3

Sister Johnson (1) Good at trials and drawn to suit. Hard to beat with no mistakes
Luby Lill (3) Got too far back last start but ran on. Well placed here and can win
Ordained (8) Going ok at trials and will not be disgraced here. Include

Race 4

Brookies Jaffa (7) Distance will suit and weaker field here. Hard to beat
Ohoka Achilles (8) Disappointing last time but has speed. Could surprise
Mo Szyslak (9) Has ability and improving. Strong field but has claims

Race 5

Chimichurri (11) Coming in fresh but big on ability. Only needs luck to be right in it
Ultimate Missile (10) Tricky draw but raced well last campaign. Good chance fresh
Mr Chip (12) Going for three in a row and will be running on. Needed

Race 6

Aldebaran Flame (13) Even race here but went good last start. Chance at good odds
Bellatrix (2) Galloped last start but not the worst. Chance at big money with no mistakes
Emma Frost (9) Has been disappointing but due a change of luck. Winning claims with manners

Race 7

Zarias (3) Nice second last start and another who can begin well. Include here
Simply Sam (7) Stand is a worry but a big winning chance if he steps.
Bad Medicine  (1) Only fair last start but can fly the tapes. Chance at longer odds.

Race 8

Liaison (1) Up in grade but easy win last start. Can win again from the inside draw
Aardiebythehill (3) Has been freshened and big on ability. Good chance here
Special Way (4) Gets a head start on his stablemates. Big chance if he can lead early

Race 9

Frankie Major (6) Racing well but outside draw. Can push the favourite with luck
Gandalf (5) Has a decent reputation and will start favourite. Should run top three
Treacherie (1) First starter with the best draw. Stable can get them running early
