Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:57pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1
Classy Operator (1) Freshened for this but looks to have come back stronger. Hard to beat
Cyren Shard (2) Nice draw and getting fitter. Can run top three with a good trip in this
Hampton (7) Form has tapered off but has speed. Top three claims at longer odds
Race 2
Luby Lill (6) Galloped last start but previous form good. One of the better chances here
Romeo Foxtrot (8) Tricky handicap but a drop in class here. Can go close to placing
A Trophy Wife (2) Manners good and rise in grade no issue. Should go close to top three
Race 3
The Surfer (1) Big drop in grade for this and could get a run behind the favourite. Needed
Jolimont (5) Goes well here and will go close to winning this if he leads. Go again here
Diamonds Are Forever (6) Has a fair amount of speed. Tougher here but has winning claims
Race 4
Shake A Leg (3) Getting fitter with racing and has the form on the board. Overdue a win
Billy The Kid (10) Freshened but raced well in age group racing last campaign. Can place
Xcite Me (2) Not the worst with no luck in several of his races. Top three chance at longer odds

All Cashed Up (6) Tricky handicap but goes well on the track. Chance with a cart into the race
Castana (2) Has raced well in similar fields and conditions suit. Win chance from the good draw.
Con Grazia Love (1) Good second last start and will go close with a safe getaway here. Needed.
Race 6
All You Need Is Me (3) Might try to lead all the way here. Strong field but has to be hard to beat
Akatea (1) Drawn to be a threat here at longer odds. Could trail the favourite in the running
Duchess Megxit (9) Will race handy to the speed on the fence. Top three claims if gaps come
Race 7
Chase A Dream (1) Drawn the best and good enough to win this from the front. Top selection
Jeremiah (3) Running on late last start. Speedy pacer who can run top three with the right trip
Cold Chisel (6) Stable respect in this. Hardly ever out of the placings and has winning claims
Race 8
Old Town Road (5) Speedy beginner who is suited by the small field. Looks the one on paper
Village Rebel (2) Tough field but not the worst if he stays handy. Needs to step and run here
Alta Wiseguy (4) At his best would go close to placing. Speedy and getting fitter. Include
Race 9
Hillbilly Blues (5) Good win on debut. Hard to hold out in this with a safe beginning.
Inasinglemoment (6) Nearly won here last start in a similar field. Stable does well here.
Keep It Klassy (7) Tricky handicap. Top three chance if she can get handy midrace. Include
