Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:57pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Value:  R5   Melsadele

Race 1

Kimkar Dash (7) Driver change and weaker fields here. Very hard to beat in this
Luby Lill (9) Good run for third last start. Normally steps ok and conditions suit here
Aldebaran Pippi (3) Manners needed but a chance here with a good run in transit

Race 2

Pandora (4) Racking up a good run of form and drawn ok. Should go close to top three
Dom Toretto (11) Tricky draw for this but going much better now. Each way chance
Sea Of Love (2) Goes well on the track and can go close in this from the nice draw

Race 3

Skipper (9) Stable does well on the track and building fitness at trials. Needed
Hampton (4) Running good races in similar fields. Has to be respected in this
Nelson’s Boy (7) Manners not great but a better run last start. Conditions suit here

Race 4

Duchess Megxit (4) Looks stronger this time in. Hard to beat in a fresh condition. Needed
Whooshka (5) Good sprinter who could surprise with a good run in transit. One for odds
We Walk By Faith (8) Tricky draw but has the motor. Good enough to make his own luck

Race 5

Melsadele (6) Has been unlucky working to hard in her recent races. Only needs a good trip
Faith In Manchester (5) Tidy run last start and conditions suit here. Up to winning here
Con Grazia Love (9) Better last start and getting fitter. Not the worst and top three chance

Race 6

Coastal Babe (2) Good draw and has beaten similar fields. Winning claims again here
Ultimate Racy Girl (4) Drawn to be a major factor again. Should be thereabouts
Kiss (1) Stable does well on the track. In form and drawn to follow the favourite

Race 7

Chase A Dream (8) Tricky draw and a big test from there. Winning claims with luck
Jeremiah (6) Best runs have been from the front. Better draw and chance at odds
Cold Chisel (1) Stable does well on the track. In form and hard to beat from the draw

Race 8

Self Assured (6) Tricky handicap for this but has speed and in form. Top selection
Bad Medicine (2) Goes ok the track and distance suits. Top three chance in this
Simply Sam (1) Draw is ideal and can go close to placing here. Small field helps

Race 9

Castana (5) Beat a similar field last start. Should be hard to beat again here. Needed
All Cashed Up (6) Needs to be put in the race. Can go close if up on the pace here
Southern Diamond (1) Draw helps and is coming in fresh but races well here. Include
