Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:56pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Ultimate Missile (7) In good form and overdue a win. Can get some money from the wide draw
Manny (1) Had excuses last start and drawn to be handy early. Winning claims over the sprint
No Added Sugar (4) Went better from the front last start. Needs to lift again but not the worst 

Race 2

Shez Bella (3) Raced well against strong age group opposition last start. Hard to beat again
Winners Time (7) Drawn wide but has gate speed and a chance at longer odds. Top three player
Bangkok Betty (6) Out of form but will be suited by the shorter trip. Place hopes here

Race 3

Major Grace (2) Stable change for this race and drawn well. Could surprise in this weaker field
Rhyme N Reason (7) Manners the biggest concern but change of stable could work wonders here
American Maid (6) Conditions suit and she has winning claims here with the right trip

Race 4

Eye Love You (8) Big reputation and motor but lacking in manners. Mobile a big help here
Emily Bay (7) Wide draw but has placed in similar fields in the past. One for longer odds in this
Ngauruhoe (2) Coming in fresh and will be stronger. If he got to the front he would be a danger

Race 5

Bettor Listen (6) Out of form but has a decent motor. Could be over the odds here and can go close
Whooshka (1) Big run for third last start and has the draw. Should be close to the placings in this.
Hesashorething (3) Looks the early leader in this and could stick on for a place with no attackers mid-race.

Race 6

Invictus (5) The short distance will be right up his alley. Hard to beat here if he finds the front early
Kings Landing (4) Will appreciate the conditions of the race. One of the major players in this
Massive Metro (6) Out of form but mobile will bring him into contention here. Needed

Race 7

Beach Flybye (5) Big win against strong opposition last start. Should be fitter and will be hard to beat
Frankie Major (6) Has run some good races against stronger fields last few starts. Winning claims
Lou Baby (3) Has a bit of speed and won well last start. Can go close to top three here

Race 8

Hot And Treacherous (8) Tricky draw but has run a fast mile time previously. Looks the winner with luck
Thee Old Bomb (1) Drawn for a cosy run in transit but up in grade. Could stick on for a place
Mimi E Coco (3) Good sprinter coming in fresh. Not sure she can beat the favourite but place chance

Race 9

Emma Frost (8) A chance from the mobile even from the wide draw. Due to show some form.
Safrakova (6) Likes to lead in her races and gets a good chance to do that here. Can win
Brienne (5) Mobile helps and she is in good form. One of the leading players in this
