Harness racing hits Auckland again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 6:04pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Itaintnecessarilyso (6) Racing well in better fields and distance suits. Top selection
True Story (4) Building up a good form line and deserves a win. Small field helps
Regal Girl (2) Getting better with racing and improver here. Can run into the placings

Race 2

In Excess (1) Conditions suit and drawn to lead early. Opened over the odds. Needed
Red Rackham (2) Good draw and plenty of ability. Can go close in this field. Include
Better Knuckle Up (4) Nice at trials and coming in fresh. Stable respect around this one

Race 3

A Trophy Wife (9) Good form at his last campaign and one of the major players in this
Kiss And Run (6) Racing well and manners the only concern. Good chance with no mistakes
Emily Bay (1) Draw helps and can improve from last start third. Will race handy in this

Race 4

Yourdoinamazinsweety (7) Disappointing fresh but should improve. One for longer odds
Kourtney Kardash (1) Has the draw and no luck last start. Can run top three here. Needed
Escape Artist (8) Wide draw but has the ability. Good enough to get into the finish here

Race 5

KD Royalty (7) Big win last start but this is harder. Will be running on late and can win
Gaz Man (6) Race form good and he will likely head forward early. Has to be respected
Bangkok Betty (3) Racing well and should race close to the speed here. Can run top three

Race 6

Montana D J (4) Manners the key from the stand. Big chance if he can step away quickly
Simply Sam (10) Has been racing well in better fields than this. Top three chance again here
Whispering Artist (9) Nice finish last start and stand suits. Good chance of running a place 

Race 7

Louezyana (4) Nice finishes the last couple. Big chance if he gets a good trip. Needed
Zlato (2) Out of form but due to strike. Needs the right trip but chance at longer odds
Hail Lucius (8) Has a big finish and a good chance in a fresh condition. Include here

Race 8

Brienne (6) Tidy run in a similar field last start. Major player in this. Top selection
Voronov (1) Good second last start. Inside draw will suit and can run top three again
Eye Love You (7) Has ability and should improve. Not the worst in this at longer odds
