Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:20pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Value:  R9  Better Knuckle Up

Race 1

Castana (2) Nice win last start and gets in well here. Can run top three again in this line up
It Ain’t Me Babe (4) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Up to winning this. Needed
Regal Girl (3) Getting better with racing and small field will help. Yesterdays Cambridge run ok

Race 2

Courtney Rose (4) Stable respect and has raced better fields in the past. Has to be included
Two Jules (2) Disappointing last start. Winning claims with a good run in transit. Include
Proviseur (8) Pops up when you least expect it. Top three chance in this field at longer odds

Race 3

Suttle (6) Tidy second last start and has to be hard to beat in this with manners. Top selection
Chickies Babe (2) Ok last start and a threat to the favourites with a good run in transit
Redpark Warrior (1) At his best would go close to winning. Might be in need of a break soon

Race 4

Tyson (8) Solid run last start and a winning chance here with a better trip. Winning claims
Waltzing With Miki (5) Has gate speed and goes ok the distance. Should give a good account
New Kid In Town (3) Strong placing last start and should give a good showing again here

Race 5

Look To Da Stars (4) Manners needed but a strong chance with no mistakes. Top selection in this.
Westar Milly (8) Ran home well last start and well placed here. Good each way chance in this
Brienne (1) Will be fitter after last start sixth. Good draw and one for longer odds with her manners

Race 6

Sugar Ray Lincoln (1) At his best would be hard to beat. Has gate speed and could lead in this
Hooray Henry (7) Conditions suit and winning claims over the shorter trip. Include here
Joes Rock (6) Due to show form and has a good finish with one run. One for longer odds in this

Race 7

Fugitive (3) Races well on the track and ideally drawn here. Winning claims if he can lead up
Andretti(AUS) (6) Powerful stable and should go close to placing in this. Goes close at his best
Cyclone Rebel (12) Impressive late last start and has the motor to be a threat here. Place chance

Race 8

Shezsofast (2) Likely leader here and will take some running down. Short odds but top selection
Alecto (10) Decent motor and drawn to follow the stablemate here. One of the better chances
Queen Lizzy (8) Big finish last start. Will continue to improve and win hope here with the right trip

Race 9

Better Knuckle Up (4) Not far away last start and winning claims with  fast beginning. Needed
Sooner The Bettor (5) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Conditions suit and has winning claims
Jeremiah (6) Consistent performer who will continue to improve. Good enough to run top three

Race 10

Pirayas (2) Drawn well here and looks a good bet off the front tapes. Should give a good account
Cyclone Sala (7) Wide draw but better than most in this. Has to be respected in this field. EW
Eye See You (6) Good finish last start and can do some work mid race. One of the better chances
