Harness racing hits Auckland again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 5:27pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Wishing Star (9) Going for three in a row and over the odds. Should be thereabouts
Asteria Lavra (12) Manners a concern but has speed. Winning claims with no mistakes
Voronov (6) Likely to head forward if he steps. One of the better chances in this

Race 2

Major Perry (7) Good against his own age group last campaign. Top selection
Lady Of The Light (5) Speedy filly coming back fresh. Should run top three
Bad Medicine (4) Running the odd cheeky race and drawn well. Good place chance

Race 3

Regal Girl (4) Likely to go forward early and nice run at Cambridge last start. Top selection
Aldebaran Pippi (1) Ran well last start and mobile will help. Has the speed to compete here
Halberg (3) Well bred and good at trials. Opened over the odds and has winning claims

Race 4

Kahlua Flybye (7) Beat a similar field last start and will be improved. Top chance
Forever Me (8) Quick beginner who will race handy. One of the better chances in this
Advance Party (1) First starter who has been impressive at trials. Can trouble the favs

Race 5

KD Royalty (8) Good form and unlucky last start. Should be right in it with luck
Bangkok Betty (5) Unbeaten but up in grade here. Could surprise in this. Include
Jasinova (12) Consistent and last two wins were tidy. Handicap the only concern. Needed

Race 6

Montana D J (2) Coming in fresh but big on ability. Should run top three in this
Ultimate Missile (3) Has been racing strong fields and drawn well. One of the major players
Miki Miksta (8) Small field will help and he will be running on. Not the worst

Race 7

Old Town Road (6) Terrific last start win and weaker field here. Should go close
Rough And Ready (4) Not disgraced last start and begins well. Place hope again
Riverman Sam (1) Running on last start and conditions suits. Chance at longer odds

Race 8

Temporale (10) Fast beginner but tricky handicap. Good chance if they don’t go too quick
Cyclone Lucky Linda (2) Easy win last start in good time. Will race handy and has claims
Aflyin Spur (7) Has been good after tough runs last couple. Should finish near the placings

Race 9

Tennessee Honey (1) Ace draw helps and will get a cozy fence run. Good winning chance
Ohoka Achilles (2) Has been disappointing but due to show some form. Can run top three
Benjamin Button (7) Has been a bit unlucky but look for him to be running on. Include

Race 10

Merlin (6) Unbeaten and held in high regard. Top selection in this field
Gandalf (4) Building some form and should finish top three. Needed here
Frankie Major (5) Has been freshened and should be close to the top three here

Race 11

No Added Sugar (6) Racing well without luck. One of the major players in this field
My Copy (5) Disappointing last start but weaker field here. Can run top three
Amazing Me (2) Galloped early last start but has ability. Could surprise here
