Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:55pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Confederate (2) Nice run fresh last start but looked a run short. Should run top three again
Im Sandra Dee (1) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Stable respect and drawn well
The Rascal (4) Getting better with racing and would not surprise to see him go back to back

Race 2

Nymbal (1) Has a bit of a reputation and speedy. Has to be included from the ace draw. Include
Special Occasion (8) Freshened but capable on his day. Powerful stable runner from astute barn
Georgie Best (7) Comfortable win on debut and is among the main chances in this field. Top three

Race 3

Grace N Elegance (8) Beaten by the stablemate last start and due a winning run. Good run expected
Kissmeiloveyou (2) Ok last campaign and a threat to the favourites with a good run in transit
Hayley Mhor (9) Good effort last start and manners only issue. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Tyson (2) Solid second last start and a winning chance from the draw. Has to be included here
Bruntwood Brigade (4) Has gate speed and unlucky last start. Should give a good account
Debbie Lincoln (8) Out of form but freshened and upset claims with a place chance at longer odds

Race 5

Bolt For The Hill (7) Fought on last start in a similar field. Hard to beat if he found the front early
Pantani (8) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance and mobile suits
Bravehearthighlander (4) Will be fitter after last start second. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip.

Race 6

Sugar Ray Lincoln (1) Good against a way weaker field last start. Hard to beat from the ace draw
You Little Beauty (8) Has been going massive races and can run time. Winning claims but wide draw.
Midnight Miki (2) Due to show form and drawn well here. Stable will have him ready to run a big race

Race 7

Matty A (8) Wide draw but will leave the arm quickly. Big winning chamce if he can lead here. Needed
Courmayeur (6) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this from behind the mobile. Winning claims
It Ain’t Me Babe (4) Freshened and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance at longer odds

Race 8

Akuta (5) Highest rated horse in the field and fitter this week. Hard to see him beaten here in the small field
Jeremiah (3) Decent motor and has come back looking stronger. Can push the favourite with any luck
Better Knuckle Up (2) Big motor and freshened well for this. Will continue to improve but drawn well

Race 9

Redpark Warrior (5) Wide draw but has the most experience for this. Has to be a good winning chance
Te Ahi (3) Decent motor and is drawn ok here. Has come back looking fit and ready to run a good race
Somebody (2) Has trialed ok for this. Top three claims on debut from a stable who gets them running
