Harness racing hits Auckland again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 5:19pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Con Grazia Love (7) Has been placed in much stronger fields. Hard to beat with manners
Ruby Ridge (14) Drops in class for this. Good top three chance in this field
One Thirtythree (13) Racing well and has ‘The Iceman’ in the sulky. Winning claims

Race 2

Skipper (1) Well bred with the draw and trainer/driver combo to match. Needed
Secret Delight (9) Likely to receive a good run on the pegs. Can run top three
Simply Gorgeous (11) Slight concern with the draw but racing better fields. Place hope

Race 3

Son Of Patrick (3) Impressive run for second last start. Will be improved so needed here
Kings Landing (2) Has been disappointing but better than that. Give another chance
Invictus (5) This distance is his sweet spot. Racing well and can win with luck in running

Race 4

Benjamin Button (6) Deserved win last start. Capable of making it two in a row
Miki Miksta (10) Should get a run through early. Improving and has winning claims
Makara (11) Tricky draw but racing ok and is tough. Could surprise with the right run

Race 5

Ultimate Missile (2) Top draw and ran a good second here last start. Hard to beat
Montana D J (9) Stable is in good form. Will be running on and might start favourite
Nicholas Cage (8) Likely to go forward early. Can not ignore winning form so needed

Race 6

Brookies Jaffa (6) Is a bit underrated and keeps stepping up. One of the major players.
Hesashorething (3) Likely early leader here who had excuses last start. One for longer odds
Bad Medicine (4) Consistently in the top four or five. Should run close to the placings

Race 7

Millwood Nike (4) Very speedy filly who showed her class last start. Hard to beat here
Kahlua Flybye (2) Good beginner who is building up some form. Can push the favourite
Advance Party (8) Another with exceptional finishing speed. Draw hurts but can win

Race 8

Miki Montana (4) Racing well and will be improved. One of the major players in this
Lady Of The Light (8) Racing strong fields and this is easier. Should run top three here
Artisan (7) Closed well late last start and races well this track. Can go close to the top three

Race 9

Sacred Mountain (12) Tricky handicap but usually begins quickly. Top selection
Cyclone Lucky Linda (10) Conditions suit and she will be hard to beat with no mistakes
Jasinova (8) Racing ok and will be finishing on. Can run a cheeky race against this field

Race 10

Hey Bartender (2) Manners a concern but hard to beat if he can find the front at some stage.
Rough And Ready (4) Usually a good stepper and was good here last start. Include
Taipo (5) Beat a strong field here last start. Hard to beat again here with similar tactics.

Race 11

Emily Bay (9) Plenty of ability but making mistakes early. Can go close here with manners
Quik Sharnie (5) Racing well and will be improved. One of the better chances in this field
Saninarmbro (2) Has been freshened. Raced well last campaign and has winning claims debut
