Harness racing hits Auckland again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 5:34pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Ordained (12) Freshened after some nice runs in age group races last campaign. Needed
The Fiery Countess (4) Looks the likely leader and will take some catching. Should go well
Five O’Clock Gerry (1) Good form in the South and can not be discounted in this. Include

Race 2

Busload Of Faith (5) Stable gets results with first starters. Has to be respected fresh up
Xcite Me (1) Could get a cosy run near the lead. Can run top three with luck in running
Medina Magic (13) Tricky draw but has been racing well in strong southern fields. Include

Race 3

Tu Tangata (1) Ran home well late last start. Has winning claims with no mistakes
Lauries Legacy (8) Normally steps ok and shorter distance suits. Should be thereabouts
Outamyway (10) Fought well after working last start. Tough ask from handicap but can win

Race 4

Gandalf (5) Coming in fresh and has a big motor. Top section in this field if fully fit
Throwyaarmsaroundme (3) Big after working last start. Drawn to run top three again
Punk Rocker (8) Draw hurts but he has the speed to be a threat with a good run in transit. 

Race 5

Manhattan (8) Racing well and will go forward. Big chance if she can find the front early
Diamonds Are Forever (2) Drawn much better but up in grade. Should give a good sight
Bri Express (1) Likely to get a soft run on the pegs. Has to rate highly on latest win effort

Race 6

Confessional (9) Far too good last start and extra distance suits. Top selection in this field
Tectonic (11) Had a tough run last start and faded. Could surprise with a better run in transit
Sunnys Sister (6) Looked a run short last start but has blistering speed. Danger if handy

Race 7

Muscle Mountain (4) Form says it all. Should win if he steps and runs to the front early
Resolve (2) Will go forward early. Conditions suit and she can place at nice odds
Oscar Bonavena (8) Has been racing ok in similar fields. Needs luck but can threaten

Race 8

Copy That (7) Loves the distance and has to be hard to beat in this field. Top selection
Self Assured (1) Good last start and will be hard to beat if he steps cleanly. Winning claims
The Big Lebowski (5) In good form but big step up in grade. Will like the pace on all the way

Race 9

Montana D J (1) Coming in fresh. Looked good last campaign and should race well here. Needed
Simply Sam (5) Small field will help and he might go forward here. Win chance with a soft lead
Hesashorething (3) Drawn the front and will race handy. Chance at longer odds in this field

Race 10

American Muscle (6) Good second last start and this field looks weaker. Can run top three again
Aldebaran Allblack (3) Ok last start and will be improved. Rates highly against this lineup
Jasinova (7) Better last start and at her best would be hard to beat. Can compete with these
