Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:22pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Bangkok Betty (7) Normally begins well and due to find some form. Big chance in this
Shez Bella (11) Disappointing last start but should be improved and class horse in this.
Brienne (1) Battled on well for fourth last start. Can run top three from the draw.

Race 2

Hawkeye Pierce (5) Likely to race close to the speed here. Top selection in this field
Seaclusion (10) Not far away in most of her starts. Can trouble the fav with the right trip
Clouding Over (4) Racing ok and suited here. One for longer odds with driver change

Race 3

Aldebaran D B (1) Likely to race close to the speed in this. Good enough to go close
Santapazienza (2) Getting better with racing. Good draw and can run top three again
Pantani (4) Good win at Addington on debut and manners only concern. Winning claims

Race 4

Blazing Louie (1) Drawn well and has been freshened for this. Has to be respected
Irish Whispers (5) Has not been put in the race last couple. Winning claims if he does
Bet West (7) Wide draw hurts but good enough at his best to be a threat. Include

Race 5

Mako (9) Unbeaten and drawn to get a run through early. Top selection in this field
Mhai Surfer Girl (7) Has ability and wide draw only worry here. Can run a big race
Louezyana (8) Freshened but wide draw to contend with. Not the worst with luck

Race 6

Magic Dash (3) Disappointing last two starts. Can bounce back with luck in running
Kiss And Run (7) More tractable now and looks a good top three chance in this, Needed
Monarch Hill  (6) Running on well last start and stable respect here. Can go one better

Race 7

Bad Medicine (4) Good from a stand and has raced well in  stronger fields. Winning claims
Coastal Babe (7) Ran on last start and win chance with a better trip. Mystery from a stand
Two Eye See (1) Longer distance should suit and winning claims if the pace is on. Needed

Race 8

Shake A Leg (3) Never been out of the placings yet and drawn well. Today could be the day
Red Rackham (8) Was disappointing last start but will be improved. Big improver here
Sugar Ray Lincoln (7) Getting better with racing and small field suits. Top three chance

Race 9

Ilsas Son (7) No room last start and small field will help. Should go very close in this
Sans Au Revoir (3) Getting fitter with racing. Good draw and track suits. Needed here.
Five O’Clock Gerry (1) Better run last start and sprint trip will help. Good chance
