Harness racing hits Auckland again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 5:32pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Emily Bay (4) Racing well and looks a good top three chance on previous form. Needed
Brienne (9) Stable goes well here. Will go close with gaps in the straight. Each way chance
Val Thorens (5) Aussie visitor with good mobile form. Has to be respected fresh up

Race 2

Miki Doo (1) Good enough to trouble this field from the draw. Winning claims here
Tytate (6) Stable does well with first starters. Drawn out but not the worst in this field
Taketheplunge (10) Freshened for this and should get a good run through early. Can place

Race 3

Liaison (6) Getting back into form and distance suits. Can go back to back with a good trip
Lord Popinjay (10) Disappointing last start but better suited here. Has to be included in this
American Muscle (11) Stable respect and has been good his last couple of runs. Needed

Race 4

Meant To Be (5) Good third last start. Goes close here with no mistakes in the running
Higher Power (3) Has raced well in similar fields. Should run top three in this. Include
Cyclone Sala (4) Two battling runs but can run a place here. Improver that can place

Race 5

Courtney Rose (6) Too good last start and likely to go close again here. Distance suits
Double Quick (4) Getting fitter with racing. Better draw and could surprise with a good trip
Mhai Surfer Girl (8) Disappointing last start but drop in class. Go again in this field.

Race 6

Hooray Henry (1) Looks well suited here and an easier field than last start. Top selection
Always B Elite (3) Track stats good. Even field but winning claims from the draw. Needed
Always Be Mattie (5) Up in grade but racing well. Has to be respected on the times he runs

Race 7

Duchess Megxit (5) Draw hurts but looks too sharp for this field. Should be winning again
Ultimate Racy Girl (1) Always thereabouts and has gate speed. Solid top three chance here
Classic Elegance (2) Should be better for last start fourth. Likely leader with place claims

Race 8

Runkle Crunch (5) Better than the form suggests. Not the worst at longer odds. Include.
Invisible (6) Decent motor and will be improved. Has a big finish and small field suits
Sugar Ray Lincoln (2) Much better draw to contend with here. Good chance if he leads

Race 9

Hayley Mhor (1) Has speed but manners let her down. Chance here with no mistakes
Lil Whip (5) Decent motor and mobile will help. Needs luck but will be running on
Belle Neige (4) Aussie visitor who has workout form. Weaker field and has winning claims

Race 10

Kourtney Kardash (5) Has been racing stronger fields. Good winning chance in this
Cristiano Buccini (3) Likely to head forward early. Distance a help and hard to run down
Bet West (1) Only battling recently but his best chance to get form. Could surprise here
