Harness racing hits Auckland again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 5.40pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Jaccka Cooper (1) Much better last start. Has the ability and can improve further. Include
No Added Sugar (5) In form and shorter distance suits. Looks a good chance in this field
Neymar (2) Has been unlucky on occasions and drawn well . Top three hope with no mistakes

Race 2

Majestic Bundy (3) Better for last start fifth. Manners the key but has winning claims
Sans Au Revoir (7) Conditions suit here and one for longer odds in this field. Include
Brienne (8) Normally a good beginner who is in form. Winning claims here. Needed

Race 3

Cupids Arrow (5) Has ability going on trial form and trainer stats good. Good chance here
Major Jay (8) Freshened but wide draw. Stable respect and should go a good race in this
Harold Hanover (7) Form has tapered off a bit but can get a place in this with luck. Include

Race 4

Florence The Machine (9) Ok so far and should improve for this. Winning claims with manners
Emily Bay (3) Quick beginner who will race handy. Should give a good account in this
Patrick Mahomes (1) Tidy draw but will need to trot all the way. Can get into the top three

Yourdoinamazinsweety (1) Out of form but best draw for some time. Has to be respected
Mandown (5) Ok draw and has been racing stronger fields. Good top three chance here.
Clouding Over (4) Getting fitter and only needs a good run in transit to be a threat. Include

Race 6

Itaintnecessarilyso (8) Nice win last start and a good chance if he gets handy. Needed
Wishing Star (6) Might be the early leader here. Needs the right trip but can go close
Jasinova (9) Back in good form and distance will suit. Good winning chance with luck

Race 7

Jethro Bodine (8) Disappointing last start but will bounce back here. Good winning chance
Hail Lucius (3) Out of form but better than that. One for longer odds in this field. Include
Nelson’s Boy (1) Better last start and drawn well here. One of the better chances in this field

Race 8

Fernleigh Cash (6) Tricky handicap but smaller field will help. Top selection in this field
Dontstopmenow (3) Good winning last start. This is harder but not the worst in this
Simply Sam (4) Unlucky in a similar field last start. Hard to beat with a clear run at them
