Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 7 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:41pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Confessional (6) Change of trainer for this and at his best would go close. Top three with manners
Pantani (2) Small field will help and dangerous if he finds the front early. One of the better chances
Courmayeur (3) Racing in much better form recently. Win chance with a soft run in transit

Race 2

Sammy Lincoln (3) Unlucky last start and small field will help here. Looks a good bet on paper
Imon (5) In great from before a spell. Should give a good account fresh from a powerful stable
Chanel Noire (1) Has been freshened and drawn to be a major player. Win hope from the ace

Race 3

Lincoln Wave (6) Easy win last start but this is harder. Should still give a good account here
Waltzing With Miki (4) Nice run on grass last start. Races well here and not the worst. Include
Nelson’s Boy (8) Out of form but has a big finish. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Amazing Captain (2) Tidy run last start a winning chance again from the draw. Top selection
Princess Of Savoy (8) Has run a couple of good races recently. Will need a cart up but has claims
Johnny Lincoln (6) In form and should keep stepping up. Worth including here on recent runs

Race 5

Hillbilly (5) Finished best last start in a weaker field. Should handle the rise in grade. Can win again
Miss Bebe (9) Attacked and still too good last start. Good each way chance if she begins quickly
Viscount Mackendon (6) Will be fitter after last start second. Top three looks likely again here

Race 6

Final Change (6) In form and back to grit will suit. Likes it here and looks one of the hardest to beat
Words (2) Freshened after a last start win and well placed here. Can go forward and dominate
Double Time (7) Will be fitter after last start. Wide draw but small field will help. Winning claims

Race 7

Barsukov (1) Inside draw and will be thereabouts at the finish. Top three claims with a fast start
Crazy (8) Decent motor and only needs manners to be a winning chance. Expect a better run here
Santapazienza (7) Disappointing last start. Has place claims at longer odds if back to his best
