Harness racing hits Auckland again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 6:22pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Jack Tar (6) Racing well and this race suits, good chance of winning here
Brookies Jaffa (7) Ran on well last start and might roll forward early include
Claude (11) Should get a run through early can surprise 

Race 2

Bellatrix (10) Has the form and only needs a good trip to go close
Trifolium (1) Gets a head start on the favourites. One for longer odds
Luby Lill (5) Well bred filly trialling well. Hard to beat with a safe getaway

Race 3

Miki Noel (2) Looked good winning trial. Will go close
Courage Of Montana (5) Stronger this time in. Should run top three
Ohoka Creed (9) Has been unlucky but will be running on again.

Race 4

Temporale (6) Has been racing better fields. Looks the winner here
Invictus (7) Good win last start and small field helps. Include
Kings Landing (5) Tidy form and should be thereabouts again

Race 5

Matai Louis (2) Bit unlucky last start and will land closer. Good winning chance
John Wayne (1) Good second last start and drawn well. Needed
Tonites Delight (3) Will be better for last start run and might push forward early

Race 6

Liaison (4) In good form and will be hard to beat in this field
Cyclone Lucky Linda (3) Ok last start and will race handy. Good chance
Mr Muscle (7) Can be touchy early but nice fourth last start Include.

Race 7

Simply Sam (5) Building a good record here and can win again
Bad Medicine (6) Tough run for second at Cambridge and can go close
Melanion (7) Nice win last start and field no stronger here. Needed

Race 8

My Royal Roxy (7) Has been a bit unlucky and could surprise at longer odds.
Safrakova (6) Likely to go forward early and distance suits. Include
Uncle Louis (8) Risky early but a good winning chance if he can step safely
