Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 12 races on the card. The racing starts at 2:55pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Roy Kent (7) Freshened and trainer does well on premier nights. Top selection in this field
Upstage (11) Stable respect and change of driver for this. Needs luck from the draw but include
The Night Agent (8) Wide draw hurts but stable will have him ready. Place chances look best

Race 2

Andarta (7) Has been good in all three placing so far. Can go one better and has to be included
Fabiana (2) Running on late for a nice second last start and will be fitter. Should be thereabouts
Muscle Memory (5) On debut from strike rate stable and has trialed ok. Top three chance here

Race 3

Billy The Kid (3) Decent form and good draw make him one of the leading chances here. Include
Caulfield (6) Did too much work last start but better than that. Right in this with luck in running
Proviseur (5) Good effort last start and goes ok the track. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Hillbilly (3) Probably the most progressive trotter in the field. Winning claims with manners
Saninarmbro (6) Has the manners and goes well the track. Should give a good account here
Whatever It Takes (4) Nice win last start and can go back to back with no mistakes in the running

Race 5

Crippa Max (6) Fought on best last start to win after racing greenly. Top selection in this field
Prince Lincoln (7) In good form and can give the favourite a fright with the right trip. Needed
Buddy Good (4) Will be fitter after last start. Nice draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Miss Bebe (2) Good form in similar fields and hard to hold out with a soft trip. Top selection in this
Look To Da Stars (9) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Manners needed but is classy
Sans Au Revoir (8) Will be fitter after last starts disappointing effort. One for longer odds here

Race 7

You Little Beauty (5) Good against a tougher field last start. Hard to beat against this lot. Needed
Mhai Surfer Girl (6) Wide draw but is good over a sprint. Hard to beat with a soft run in transit
Debbie Lincoln (2) Drawn well her and will be driven positively. One of the better chances in this

Race 8

Mighty Logan (2) In great form and has drawn well over the shorter distance. Top selection
Hillbilly Blues (1) Decent motor and ace draw gives him options. In the finish if he gets a kind run
Oscar Bonavena (8) Fastest horse in the field but getting older. Small field and mobile a big assist

Race 9

Ultimate Racy Girl (7) Tough draw but capable of figuring with a smooth trip. Top selection here
Arden’s Memory (6) Wide alley makes the task harder. Can make her own luck but relying on tempo
Princess Of Savoy (10) Fought on well last start. Will continue to improve and winning claims here

Race 10

Republican Party (2) Won this race last year and in better form. Drawn well and looks a good bet.
Merlin (5) Wider draw but better than most in this field. Has to be respected in this. Include here
Better Knuckle Up (7) Has had some tough trips and been unlucky. Could surprise with driver change

Race 11

Walkinonsunshine (7) Never far away form the placings. Will be strong late with the right run
Higher Power (2) Good form on the track. Needs to bring his best manners but worth including
Magic Dash (4) Likely to race close to the speed here. Freshened and has winning claims here

Race 12

Louezyana (2) Has been running on late and best draw for some time. Top selection in this.
Double Parked (1) Should get a soft trip from the ace draw here and has to be respected. Include
Captain Kobe (5) Won well last start but harder here. Not the worst at longer odds for a top three
