Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:14pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Lou Baby (4) Went some tidy races last campaign and looks a top chance in this
Midfrew Lucre (2) Likely to receive a good run from the draw. Winning claims
Nelson’s Boy (3) Goes well on the track and has been unlucky . Rates highly in this field

Race 2

Matty A (5) Impressive win on debut and has a reputation. One of the major players in this
Love Is Everywhere (2)  Winning claims in this field and top driver booked. Can run top three
Dream Of You (11) Manners not great but has a decent motor. Can win again with the right trip

Race 3

Mandown (1) Hard to beat from the draw and small field will help. Everybody’s favourite here
Baz (2) Freshened and should get a cosy run close to the speed. Good chance from the trail here
Wharewhiti (4) Going well at workouts and could go a blinder in a fresh state. Include

Race 4

Seve (4) Age group racing was impressive and should be fit after workout placing. Needed
Doctor Tim (3) Racing weaker fields but is in good form. Could surprise with luck.
Riverman Sam (10) Has raced well on the track previously. Drawn ok and should get a run through

Race 5

Kiss (1) Running on well with out being pushed at workout. Can win this from the draw
Supertramp (2) Ok at recent trial and might head forward early. One of the better chances
Ultimate Racy Girl (3) Stable look to have a stranglehold on the race. Place claims in this

Race 6

Yourdoinamazinsweety (3) Led and won easily last start and could try for the same. Needed
Major Jay (5) Ok last start but will be fitter. Not sure he can beat the stablemate but can place
Escape Artist (1) Tidy draw and should go close to running top three here. Include

Race 7

Sherlock (4) Desperately unlucky last start. Drawn much better and should go close in this
Sinbad (11) Racing well and good finish late last start. Can surprise with the right run in transit
With Style (10) Has a ton of speed and drawn to get a run on the outer. Can run a cheeky race

Race 8

Advance Party (1) Big upgrade in draw for this. Will race handy and top selection here
Mr Kaplan (5) Nice win last start and could try to lead again here. One of the better chances.
Lady Of The Light (7) Racing better fields in recent outings. Tricky draw but good enough to win

Race 9

Springbank Mason (7) Better than the form suggests and manners the only concern. Needed
Sacred Mountain (6) Quick beginner getting better with racing. Will go forward and has claims
Mountain Mass (1) Comes up with the ace draw and should get a cosy run. Place chance here
