Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 8 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:29pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R1  Cyclone Rebel

Best Value:  R6  Invisible

Race 1

Cyclone Rebel (3) Not far from winning last start and can go one better. Top selection
Tight Lines (6) Small field will help and nice win last start but up in grade. Needed
Imposing Sea (4) Tidy win with more in the tank last start. Winning claims in this field

Race 2

I’ll Call You (3) Did too much work after a break mid race last start. Chance with no errors
Patricia Ruby (7) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Include
Mass Disruption (9) Freshened and does have a bit if speed. Top three chance in this

Race 3

Nazare (2) Looked good at recent trials and drawn to be competitive. Nice run expected
American Falcon (5) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit
Just Us Two (4) Stable respect and small field helps. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Memories (3) Solid third last start and a winning chance from the draw. Winning claims
Stone Cold (10) In form and goes well the track. Should give a good account again in this
Mad Mary (7) Stable hard to beat on this track and a good third last start. Top three hope

Race 5

Tyson (2) Fought on up the pegs last start and better draw here. Top selection in this field
The Jolly Roger (5) Freshened and did run some nice races last campaign. Good chance
Final Change (7) Conditions against him last start and better suited in this race. Include

Race 6

Invisible (6) Running on last start. Hard to beat against this lot if he gets the right trip
Hooray Henry (7) Small field aids his chances. Will be running home over the top here
Kevin Kline (3) Might try for an all the way win again. Dangerous if left alone in front

Race 7

Castana (4) In good from and always a chance in these conditions. Top selection
Halberg (6) Tricky handicap but should go close to placing in this with manners
Makaku (2) Will depend on his start but has the speed if he trots all the way. Can upset

Race 8

Soul Artist (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Trials suggest a good debut run
Gloria Steinem (4) Running on last start and building fitness. One of the better chances
Enzo (5) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here
