Harness racing hits Auckland again today with seven races on the card. The racing starts at 6:06pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R4  Bar Louie

Best Value:  R1  Bet West

Race 1

Bet West (2) Conditions suit and well drawn, Has raced well in better fields. Top selection
Benjamin Button (5) Battled last start but could bounce back here with a good trip. Include
Midfrew Lucre (3) Better run last start and goes well on the track. Winning claims here

Race 2

Clouding Over (8) Wide draw here but likes the sprint trip. One of the better chances
Lincoln La Moose (1) Well drawn and has the motor to threaten here. Can go close
Ideal Delight (2) Back North and due to show some form. Has good gate speed. Needed

Race 3

Jasinova (2) Going ok races and drawn to get a handy run in or near the front. Can win
Ilsas Son (4) Getting better with racing. Might go close to making it two in a row here
Voronov (9) Handicap hurts but small field will help. Hard to beat if close on the turn

Race 4

Bar Louie (7) In good form for this. Looks like he will make it three straight. Needed
Turn O The Tide (3) Good form and racing well. Should go close to top three again
Lincoln Lou (5) Capable of threatening the favourite with the right trip. Good chance

Race 5

Twista (3) In top form and drawn well. Top three again here and can win with luck
Artisan (7) Gate speed and might try for the front early. Has winning claims again
Mantra Blue (9) Classy mare returning for this. Even field but big respect here.

Race 6

Desistella (1) Good run at recent trial and drawn to be near the front. Top selection
Carbon (4) Improving with racing but needs the right run in transit. Winning claims
Kevin Kline (3) Did ok last start after breaking. If he goes with them early can go close.

Race 7

Bolt For The Hill (4) Has been racing ok in better fields. Will start favourite here
Asteria Lavra (2) Has speed at her best and new stable. Could surprise if fully fit
Lil Whip  (6) Manners the key and a big winning chance with no mistakes. Go again
