Harness racing hits Auckland again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:44pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Dream Of You (9) Has a big motor but manners not great. Winning claims with no errors
Faith In Manchester (2) In good form and drawn to land handy early. Needed here
Del Shannon (12) Tricky draw but has ability and form. Should go close to top three here

Race 2

Ideal Kingdom (8) Freshened and has a decent motor. Should go close in this field
Bettor Cheer (7) Good effort fresh up and should be improved. Looks hard to beat
Aardie’s Flash (1) First start was impressive and had excuses last start. Needed here

Race 3

Eye Love You (7) Decent reputation but has been disappointing. Getting fitter now
Speed To Burn (8) Racing well the last couple and should be close to top three here
Special Effects (3) Big motor but lacking in manners. Chance if he trots all the way

Race 4

Midfrew Lucre (6) Best form in the field and looks hard to beat in this field. Include
Neymar (2) Freshened but has speed. Likely to need the run but can place.
Ohoka Achilles (7) Races well on the track and weaker field. One for longer odds

Race 5

Chimichurri (7) Coming in fresh and ready for a big campaign. Hard to beat here.
Jack The Builder (6) Looked good winning last start and should run top three here
Frankie Major (2) Top driver booked and he should race handy. Major player here

Race 6

Kings Landing (5) Looked good when winning last start. Top selection here
Invictus (6) Getting better with racing and distance suits. Hard to beat
I See Fire (4) Racing well and can go close in this if the pace is on.

Race 7

Darling Me (7) Tricky draw but in superb form. Top selection here
La Rosa (3) Racing well and looks the early leader. Can stick on for a place
Callie’s Delight (10) Running on well last start and good track stats. Include

Race 8

Copy That (6) Looks a moral to be winning this from level marks in a small field.
Hot And Treacherous (5) Can run a quick mile. Main danger to the favourite in this
Allamericanlover (4) Racing ok but big test here. Could go close to top three

Race 9

Kimkar Dash (7) Big motor and mobile will help. One of the major players in this
Aldebaran Flame (5) Racing well and looks hard to beat here. Include in this field
Escape The Pace (6) Going for four in a row and trotting well. Winning claims
