Harness racing hits Banks Peninsula again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:33pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R3  Done Rockn

Best Value:  R2   Sea Jay

Race 1

Tilthesunsets (2) Going good races and normally steps well. Should go close in this
Bevron (1) Best draw and getting fitter. Can improve on last start fourth. Include
Moa Mojito(10) Keeps breaking but has trialed well on the track. One for longer odds

Race 2

Sea Jay (5) Has been unlucky but better than that. Top selection in an even field
Sweet Spirit (4) Good ability and draw upgrade for this. Can run top three with luck
Miley Ace(3) Racing in good form and likely to go a strong race again here. Needed 

Race 3

Done Rockn (11) Well bred and has a change of trainer. Looks one of the better chances
Ambleside Drive  (5) Tidy run last start and looks capable of filling a place again.
Big Gee(1) Strikes a nice draw and should get a good run in transit. Can run top three

Race 4

Kennedy  (7) On his recent form and manners looks a solid winning chance. Needed
Megarock (2) Racing well in similar fields and reliable at the start. Has to be respected
Apatchofgold(6) Has been driven for luck in recent runs but no room. Could surprise
 

Race 5

Illegal Alien  (1) Quick stepper who might be the early leader. One of the better chances
Crazy N Love (7) Previous winner on the track and grass suits. Has to be included here
Ruthless Lizzie (4) Only needs a good trip to go close to winning this. Can run top three

Race 6

Harrison  (8) Has been racing in better fields and grass suits. Wide draw but needed
Motor Mouth (12) Grass runs have been good. Out of form but has to be included here
Foveaux Gambler (1) Tidy draw and should get a good run. Include at longer odds

Race 7

Cardi B (6) Disappointing last start but can go forward here and grass is ok. Top selection
Hayley’s Meddle (4) Likely to race handy  and can run top three with luck in the running.
Amaretto Franco (11) Big motor but has been getting back in the field. Track should suit

Race 8

Flyaway  (3) Draw gives her options and looks very hard to beat here if she can lead
Expressive Love (1) Likely to lead or trail and can run top three again with luck here.
Times Are A Changin (9) Good second last start but wide draw. Needs the run to suit 

 Race 9

Natives Inferno (15) Disappointing  last start but looks a major player in this. Needed.
DD’s Super Stuart (5) Good win last start and should improve. One for longer odds
Kawhi (8) Top driver booked and if she brings her a-game can run top three in this

Race 10

Dare Devil (8) Wide draw but good enough to make his own luck. Top selection
Radioactive Jaffa (12) Goes best with one run at them. Look for him late in this
Bettor Be Sharp (13) Has been disappointing but has the ability. Quick improver
