Harness racing hits Banks Peninsula again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:25pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Connies President (1) Consistent form in recent races. Can get some money here with no errors
A Late Late Pressy (7) Seems reliable from a stand and battled on ok last start. Needed in this
Didjabringthebubbles (12) Getting better with racing and should give a good account again

Race 2

Michael Caine (1) Drawn well and looks the hardest to beat in this field. Top selection
Montoya (12) Went well on the track fresh but last two were disappointing. Go again
Harry Belafonte (9) Tricky draw but running home well the last couple. Could surprise in this

Race 3

Bad Hombre (1) Tidy draw and a big chance if he lands handy to the speed in this.
Penny Weight  (3) Good beginner who was unlucky last start. Winning claims here
Lay On Macduff (6) Conditions suit and looks a genuine place chance again in this field

Race 4

Times Are A Changin (12) Has a good sprint when saved for one run. Can go close with luck
Hey Tonight (1) Tidy draw and top driver booked. Hard to beat with a run close to the speed
Better Fly (4) Might be the early leader in this and racing well in stronger fields. Include

Race 5

Rachmaninov (14) Good win last start and can win again at longer odds with luck in transit.
Roydon Muscle (4) Racing better than the form suggests. Can run top three with the right trip
Cormoran Strike (6) Form tapered off, but track suits and he can run a good race with manners.

Race 6

Theresa Love (3) Underrated pacer with in-form driver on board. Hard to beat here
Bettor Be Sharp (4) Rarely runs a bad race and grass suits. Major player in this field
Szybka Lane (10) Tricky draw but racing well in strong fields. Chance at odds with gaps

Race 7

Lumen Caeli (4) Worked too hard last start but battled well. Has to rate highly again
Sam’s Town (6) Good on grass and building up to peak fitness. Top three player in this
Dashing Major (7) Grass stats good and small field will help. One of the better chances

Race 8

Krystal Delight (3) Has gate speed and should be handy on the fence. Could be over the odds
Radioactive Jaffa (14) Has been disappointing but driver change and could surprise with luck.
Chambray (16) Tricky draw but from a strong stable. Winning claims with a cart into the race

Race 9

Tremendous Lover (2) Has won on grass and will be fitter for his fresh up second. Include here
On Report (9) Disappointing last start but grass suits and normally a good beginner. Needed
Gronkowski (6) Pops up every now and then and track stats good. Could surprise in this field

Race 10

Boyz Invasion (17) Got a deserved win last start and can win again with a similar run in transit.
Musclynn  (4) Grass suits and dropping back from a tougher grade. One of the better chances
Ali Lindenny (5) Normally does everything right and good fourth last time on track. Can place

Race 11

Sophia Bromac (4) Plenty of ability and form on grass is outstanding. Top selection in this field
Ruby’s A Delight (8) Good win last start but wide draw hurts. Has winning claims at longer odds.
Rocknallovertheworld (2) Draw well and has been racing well. Can place with the right run
