Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:47pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R8   In Excess

Best Value:  R4   Cyclone Lucky Linda

Race 1

Conrad H (3) Has form on the board and should go close to winning this. Needed
Itbetterbenow (1) Ok here last start and will appreciate the front line draw. Good chance here
That’s Entertainment (7) Manners the key and could surprise if he gets a quick start

Race 2

Papenhuyzen (5) Knocked over last start but has ability. Go again in this field
Pandora (2) Should race close to the speed from the draw. One of the better chances
Blue Chip Lou (1) Will get a nice run on the pegs. Could surprise at longer odds

Race 3

Invisible (5) Conditions suit here and distance ideal. Good chance in this
Sharkies Girl (3) Quick beginner with form and ideal draw. Include here
Pixie (1) Mobile and distance will suit her style of racing. Top three spot beckons 

Race 4

Cyclone Lucky Linda (9) A bit out of form but due to strike soon. Top selection in this
The River Boy (11) Disappointing last start but had excuses. Winning chance with manners
Con Grazia Love (14) Back in the handicap but on ability has to be included here

Race 5

Jeremiah (4) Coming in fresh and trainer respect here. Workout form says yes
Silver Spoon (5) Has looked quite speedy at trials and stable respect. Has to be included
Delightful Chic (6) First starter good enough to place in this. Will not be far away

Race 6

Throwyaarmsaroundme (1) Tough run to win last start but up in grade. Top selection
Bad Medicine (4) Racing well in similar fields. The form stacks up well here. Needed
Brookies Jaffa (5) Always races well in these types of races. Will not be far away

Race 7

Resolve (8) Too good last start and has to be hard to beat again in what looks a weaker field. 
All Cashed Up (7) Fought well last start and manners the only concern. Include here
Sacred Mountain (6) Mobile and distance should suit. Might look to lead here and has claims

Race 8

In Excess (3) Racing well and has a reputation. Should go very close to winning this 
Party Animal (7) Freshened after win last year. Likely to be stronger this time in
Justcallmemiki (4) Drawn to get a good run close to the speed. Harder field but can win again

Race 9

Ann Ofathousand Bays (2) Racing well and trainer winning everywhere. Should go close in this
Oceanic Art (5) Racing ok and conditions suit. Can run top three with a similar effort to last start
Bettor Grunter (6) Drawn wide but has raced well in better fields. Could place with luck
