Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:14pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Bet West (3) Goes well on the track and has beaten better fields. Winning claims here
Hail Lucius (4) Form has tapered off slightly. Can run top three with his best effort. Include
Sharkies Girl (1) In good form and looks hard to beat if she can get a good near the front

Race 2

Kaipaki Jack (3) In form and hard to run down if he can get a quick beginning. Winning claims
Hillbilly Blues (7) Unlucky last start and well placed here. One of the better chances with luck
Keep It Klassy (9) Consistently running in the top four. Top three chance again with manners

Race 3

Lincoln Cove (2) Good second last start and a win looks close at hand. Top selection in this field
Bev The Goat (1) Racing ok and drawn to feature at longer odds. Ran second in this race last year
Lord Delmar (9) Should get a good run on the pegs. Has to be respected from the lead or trail

Race 4

Skipper (4) Has beaten similar fields and good win here last start. Top selection in this line up
Eastwood Dream (1) Draw will help here. One paced but should give a good account from the trail
Diamonds Are Forever (9) Tidy pegs draw will help here. Can finish well with one run at them

Race 5

Cold Chisel (5) In great form and has beaten these horses last start. Should run top two
We Walk By Faith (6) Drawn wide but hard to beat if he can get in front of Cold Chisel early.
Vessem (1) Better last start and first decent draw for a while. Can run in the top three 

Race 6

Callmethebreeze(FR) (4) Tricky race from a gate speed perspective. Big chance if he finds the front
Queen Elida (1) Reliable early and a good place hope in this field. Ace draw gives her options
Oscar Bonavena (9) Might get a soft run on the pegs here. Has the speed to place with gaps

Race 7

Joca’s Hill (14) Manners the key and no doubting the motor. Can win with no mistakes
Con Grazia Love (10) Disappointing last start but can go close with luck in running. Needed
Jasinova (9) Likely to go forward early and can run time in front. Could surprise at longer odds

Race 8

Jolimont (9) Tough stayer who will relish the conditions. First stand but top selection in this
Bad Medicine (2) Good last start and can go close from a front row draw. Needed here
Hesashorething (4) Usually holds his form ok and second in this race last year at long odds.

Race 9

Don’t Stop Dreaming (2) Conditions suit and might be the leader. Hard to run down in front
Kango (1) Getting fitter with racing and a top three chance from the ace draw. Big chance
Self Assured (10) Unlucky last start and follows out the favourite. Definitely a top three chance
