Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 5:23pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Value:  R1   Faith In Manchester

Race 1

Faith In Manchester (5) Raced well in a strong field last start. Top selection in this
Mocca Francy (2) Going ok in the Central District. Not the worst at longer odds
Quik Sharnie (6) Ran home ok last start and extra distance should suit. Include

Race 2

Bev The Goat (2) Good draw and not far away in a similar field last start. Likely leader
Feel The Fury (8) Tricky draw but good course trainer stats. One of the main chances
Baz (6) Drawn ok and has been freshened. Should compete well in this field.

Race 3

Kiwitrix (10) In form and drop in class and up in distance suits. Winning claims in this field
Mr Muscle (7) Coming in fresh but has the motor to be a big threat. Chance with manners
Patrick Swayze (3) Needs to step but a good win on the track two starts ago. Include

Race 4

Mr President (5) Big reputation and has been racing in tougher fields. Hard to beat in this
Sparkie (2) Ran a good race last start and big upgrade in draws. Could be the early leader
Throwyaarmsaroundme (13) Tricky draw but good enough to overcome it with a cart into it.

Race 5

Cos I Can (3) Strong Cup win in a similar field last start. Looks hard to hold out from the draw
Simply Sam (7) Big drop in grade and a major chance if he steps cleanly. Can win at good odds
Bach (4) Stand suits and can improve on his disappointing run last start. Top three hope

Race 6

Brookies Jaffa (1) Has been unlucky and might race close to the speed here. Top selection
Ideal Kingdom (9) Should get a drag through from the draw. Good enough to handle most in this
Neptune (2) Racing ok and much better out and rolling. Can run top three in this field

Race 7

Aldebaran Zeus (7) Comes into this with a big reputation and a ton of speed. Top selection
Majestic Man (8) Back to his favourite distance. Has the speed to run a placing in this
Double Delight (5) Biggest test to date but a speedy trotter. Should go close to top three

Race 8

Old Town Road (3) Stuck well after working hard last start. Can outsprint them from the trail
Self Assured (10) Beat a similar field last start and big improver. Should run top three here
Akuta (11) Is getting better with racing and will be primed for this. Winning claims at good odds
