Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 5:16pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R9   Spirited Peggy

Best Value:  R6   Monarch Hill

Race 1

Pretty In Pink (2) Big run in a stronger field last start. Should go close here and top selection in this
Crackerjack (4) Racing well and stable respect. Manners needed but has to be included against these
Rubble On The Double (6) Tidy run last start and is experienced on the track and behind mobile. Needed

Race 2

Akatea (7) In great form and looks a good bet if she can get handy quickly. Top selection in this
Diamonds Are Forever (2) Best draw and fast enough to make her own luck in running. Win hope
Le Major (8) Drawn wider but normally a fast beginner. Should give a good account with his speed

Race 3

Cracker Rock (8) Wide draw but has raced better fields in the past. Chance of getting a win here
Midfrew Lucre (3) Has run some good races in these conditions. Place claims with a fast beginning
Always B Charlie (1) Draw will help here. Should get a soft run and could be hard to beat in this

Race 4

Eagle Hanover (2) Goes ok on the track and can run time. Extra distance will be in his favour
Elizabeth Hill (8) Going well an stable respect here. Will have admirers and might start at short odds
Patrick Mahomes (11) Races better over a shorter trip but if he can get handy is a place hope here

Race 5

Double Jeopardy (3) Fresh up and stand a query. Chance at good odds if he begins quickly
Rock Band (2) Strong field but he gets a head start on the favourites. One for longer odds in this
Hooray Henry (6) Wider draw but quick enough to finish over the top of them with a good trip

Race 6

Monarch Hill (4) Track stats ok and due to regain form. Good chance in what is a strong field.
Father Barry (2) Good form but manners will be key. Should give a good account with no errors
Lord Popinjay (8) Quick beginner who will like the conditions here. Can do some work and stick on

Race 7

Franco Salah (4) Stable respect and he went well last start. Has to be respected here and top selection
Sadhaka (2) Has been racing better fields and gets her chance here. Might push forward and lead
Bigger The Bettor (1) Good draw and should get a soft trip. Place chances in this field. Include

Race 8

Cyren Shard (6) Conditions suit and a good winning chance if she can get some luck. Needed
Messenger Buoy (2) Could be the possible early leader. Good form and one of the better chances
Heaven High (5) Conditions ideal and he does a good job on the track. Winning claims again

Race 9

Spirited Peggy (3) Big run last start and quick from the mobile. Should race handy and top selection
Mary Magdalene (4) Has raced well against similar fields. On the improve and can run top three
Chapel Gate (2) Ok draw and better than the form suggests. Look for a good run in this field.

Race 10

So Mystifying (4) Track stats ok and mobile will help. Good chance  with no mistakes in the running
Dragonstone (6) Needs to bring her manners but should give a good account if she trots all the way
Dreams Pat (8) Better than the form suggests. Not the worst in this at longer odds. Upset chance

Race 11

Gladys Greenland (4) Conditions suit and a good chance if she gets a soft lead. Top selection
Sheza Mermaid (8) Good form and getting fitter. Can do work midrace and chance here with luck
Clouding Over (6) Normally quick away. One of the major chances in this field. Has to be included
