Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:38pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Ideal Zen (8) Good last start on grass and driver stats very impressive. Winning claims here
Somedreamsomewhere (6) Goes well in these amateur driver races and looks a major player
Mr Wonderful (3) Drawn well and rates highly on past runs in amateur driver races. Include

Race 2

Our Benson (2) Battled well against similar opposition last start. Hard to beat in this
Mannion (1) Likely to receive a good run from the draw. Can run top three against these
Invisible (5) Good fourth fresh up and can go better here with natural improvement

Race 3

Quik Sharnie (7) Won maiden and had a slight break. Hard to beat in this with manners
Run Forest Run (14) Not a great draw but good enough to overcome it. Chance with luck
That’s Entertainment (5) First run in the North but has ability. Can surprise with the right trip

Race 4

Diamond Mounted (4) Change of trainer but has been ok in previous starts. Needed here
You Little Beauty (5) Disappointing last start but weaker field here and big improver. Include
Rhyme N Reason (7) Tricky draw but has ability. Could surprise at longer odds in this

Race 5

Clymenus (6) Raced well on the track previously and building fitness. Not the worst at longer odds
Ohoka Creed (10) Speedy and should get a run through from the draw. One of the better chances
Mercury Rising (12) Normally runs in the top four and this race suits. Good winning claims.

Race 6

Miki Montana (5) Gets a better draw than the stablemate. Hard to beat over the sprint
Artisan (8) Tricky draw but will be firing home late. Can run top three in this field
Sparkie (2) Likely to get a good run on the fence. Consistent and has to rate highly

Race 7

Full Of Hope (9) Always begins well and longer trip suits. One of the major players in this field
Alana (7) Has run some good races on the track and not far away last start. Winning claims
Jasinova (12) Close to the best mare in the race but out of form. Can make her presence felt

Race 8

Next To Me (4) Looks stronger this time in. Nice field but has winning claims in a fresh state
Aardie’s Flash (5) From a strike rate stable and racing well in strong fields. Good chance
My Copy (11) Back in grade but draw not great. Can run a cheeky race against this field with luck

Race 9

Chimichurri (4) Not sure stand will suit but looks the winner if he steps. Top selection
Bet West (1) Nice placing here last start in a similar field. Gets a head-start and has claims
Rough And Ready (6) Fast beginner off the stand normally. Small field will help. Needed
