Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 5:41pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Mazeppa (4) Likely leader who is in winning form. Good chance again here. Needed
Cool Phelan (9) Disappointing last start but could bounce back in this weaker field.
Majestic Bundy (10) Better than the form suggests and extra distance suits. Can place

Race 2

Jaccka Cooper (2) Has gate speed and might try for the front here. Hard to beat
Midfrew Lucre (1) Well drawn and has the motor to threaten here. Good chance
Benjamin Button (9) Racing fairly and with a pegs trip can finish well. Include

Race 3

Auctioneer (9) At his best would go close in this. A hot pace would be ideal here
Predator (3) Freshened and has the motor to win. Went close here earlier in the year
Always B An Angel (2) On debut and has been good at workouts. Not the worst here

Race 4

Seaclusion (2) Running big races and likely to race close to the speed. Top selection
Next Level (3) Getting better with racing. Has won on the track and should be improved.
Dontletfearstopya (10) Looks well suited here after racing nice Auckland fields. Good chance

Race 5

Sacred Mountain (10) Big handicap to overcome but speedy beginner. Big show in this
Presidential Jewel (3) Good draw and racing well. Should go close to top three with luck
Luby Lill (5) Could fly the tapes and races well in front. One of the better chances

Race 6

Cyren Shard (4) Raced well on the track in the past. Nice chance here from the draw
Irish Whispers (9) Has been disappointing but could bounce back here. Good chance
Fifth And Final (2) Disappointing last start. Strong field but has a top three chance.

Race 7

Major Major (1) Going well at workouts and stable respect in this. Hard to beat here
Miss Woodville (6) Hasn’t had all the luck in the running. Will give a good sight at odds
Under The Boardwalk (2) Has ability and driver change for this. Has to be included

Race 8

Aldebaran Crystal (8) Hard to believe she has not won a race by now. Looks a good bet
Rise To The Occasion (3) Begins well and field not strong. Gets her chance here
So Mystifying (6) Well bred and trainer gets results with debut runners. Chance on debut
