Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with seven races on the card. The racing starts at 4:45pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Hayley Mhor (6) Has been slow away at her recent starts. Goes close with manners. Top selection
Rubble On The Double (1) Nice debut last start and hard to beat with a similar effort. Include here
Play Fast And Loose (2) Battling away in similar races. Good top three chance with no mistakes

Race 2

Desert Dawn (8) Wide draw the only concern. Will need a bit of luck but has winning claims
Medina Magic  (5) Has the speed to be one of the better chances if he can find the front. Include
Onetangi Girl (3) Improver from her last start and drawn to play a part. One for longer odds

Race 3

Mary Magdalene (6) Stable in good form and has been racing well in similar fields. Should place
Shonny Lou (4) Good run on the track last start. Quick beginner who looks the likely leader early
Alwaysbesecret (3) Should get a soft run from the draw. Major player here and small field helps

Race 4

Mentalist (7) Change of stable and a winning chance with a good trip. Has the motor to go close
Slainte (3) Has early speed and possible leader. Could surprise with no mistakes in the running
Elizabeth Hill (2) Better draw and stable respect. Will have plenty of supporters in this field

Race 5

Beta Prepare  (6) Stable does well on the track and the the motor is there. Wide draw but needed
Franco Salah (5) Much better run last start. Good enough to run top three with a soft trip
Scott (8) Wide draw and disappointing the last start. Upset claims with his best effort. Place hope

Race 6

Messenger Buoy (2) Last start was very good and drawn to be a major factor here. Top selection
C U There (4) Track stats good. Strong field but winning claims with a good run in transit. Needed
Cracker Rock (8) Will be better for the last start third. In form and wide draw the only concern

Race 7

Jasinova (1) Conditions suit and a good chance if she gets her own way in front. Winning claims
Barsukov (9) Goes well on the track and hasn’t been far away in recent starts. Can win with luck
Patrick Mahomes (2) Good draw and decent run last start after a slight break. Will be improved.
