Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 4:30pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R3   Its Electrifying

Best Value:  R4    Eagle Hanover

Race 1

Voodle Magic (1) Not far away last start. Needs manners but good top three chance
Sharp Image (3) Stable goes well here. Will go close with no mistakes in the running
Henrik Lundqvist (5) Running on last start. Each way claims with a good run in transit

Race 2

Midfrew Lucre (7) Good enough to trouble this field. Wide draw but winning claims
Desert Dawn (8) Has beaten most of these in the past. Drawn out but good chance
Whitfield (9) Not far away the last three runs. Fence run will help and can place

Race 3

Its Electrifying (7) Was never put in the race last start. Should win if he goes forward
Always B Charlie (3) Freshened and looks stronger this time in. Has to be included here
Nearer The Dragon (2) Stable respect and has been ok at trials. Can place with luck

Race 4

Eagle Hanover (4) Good winner last start. Up in grade but can still run top three
Sans Au Revoir (5) Has raced well in better fields. Good chance back on favourite track
Joca’s Hill (10) Tricky draw but has a big finish. Improver with winning claims here

Race 5

Bigger The Bettor (2) Freshened and ran some good races here last campaign. Include
Pass Code (5) Getting fitter with racing. Tricky draw but could surprise with a good trip
Inlouof (6) Disappointing last start but better than that. Go again in this field. Needed

Race 6

Major Major (3) Looks well suited here and an easier field than last start. Top selection
C U There (1) Track stats good. Even field but winning claims from the draw. Needed
Cheer Me On (5) Running on late last start. Trained locally one of the better chances

Race 7

Cracker Rock (9) Draw hurts but a good chance if he gets a cart into the race. Include
Precious Bet (2) Always thereabouts and has gate speed. Solid top three chance in this
Caulfield (7) Should be better for the last start fourth. Can make his own luck in running

Race 8

Asteria Lavra (6) Looks a good bet here after racing well in stronger Auckland fields.
President Flynntin (2) Decent motor and will be improved. Chance if he steps cleanly
Cosmic Angel (4) Keeps running good races but up in grade here. Good beginner usually
